My children enjoy going to Dollarama. Even though inflation caused prices to rise significantly, I can usually find good products here.

I was here yesterday and I buy a lot of stuff around $125 and I’m coming back today to return some item or half of item I was talking to ladies working in the cashier. She’s very rude and I asked her to call me her manager when the manager comes. She was so rude and she talk to me l like a bad way. I don’t know why so my message for the owner please when you choose a manager choose it hundred percent right not like same. This lady respect for all, but the manager is very bad lady working cashier. She’s very old ladies. She’s very bad as well.👎🏻👎🏻

Just wanted a cold drink Dollarama is Dollarama and they had it. It was cold, there was a bit of a lineup, but somebody always comes to the front when they get busy. I was in and out fast. The parking lot is much worse in this mall, few access points and packed

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Instead of yelling at me down the aisle and making me feel like a criminal. How about bringing me a basket instead? You made me feel like crap like I was stealing something. Yes, I brought my own bag, lots of people do. I know this isn’t the greatest sometimes but I don’t think anyone would appreciate how you handled this situation. This employee was working in the food isle with a small ladder. Black braided up hair and about 5 foot 4. I will not be shopping at this location as londerry mall clearly has staff that doesn’t treat their customers like criminals. Go check the cameras, I paid for all my stuff. I was using a blue Wal mart bag. I had 0 intentions of stealing anything and you ruined my shopping experience.

Security and aggressive staff!!! I totally agree that people don't have the right to consume inside the store and that security must intervene and stop it's nobody. But here in Canada violence is ILLEGAL!! Yesterday we went to dollorama and security hit an itinerant for free and broke his glasses!!! ABUSE OF POWER!!! A normal and adequate intervention could have been used since the itinerant was not aggressive or made a gesture that required such strength!!! I do not recommend this place. I still have the images in my head and I can't imagine for a child how this violence can cause trauma... I advise you not to go to this dollorama with such abusive security and staff who watch the scene and look forward to see the violence. A harmful employer with a very high anger should lose his job.

Yup they have lots of low priced stuff, but are you really getting anything of value, or the lowest price?!
Also I went into the store in desperate need of a washroom, I opened a back door and a alarm went off. When I said that I really needed to use a washroom, the security guard said that there is no public washroom. Not caring about my need, I will never go to the store again!

This particular location has taken loss prevention and security to a near fascist level. I'm surprised store staff aren't required to wear army boots and patrol with automatic weapons. I've been shopping at this location for a few years now. During this time I've been followed around the store while shopping repeatedly, by repeatedly I mean that it happens almost every time I attend this location. As soon as I enter the store there is a call for security over the PA. As I move through the store i attemptt to greet staff and I am met with silence and scowls. I am typically followed through the store by a security guard and at least one staff member. This despite the fact that I have not ever, not once been accused of nor apprehended for theft or any other criminal activity at any time in the past. It would appear that my fashion choices and physical appearance are in some way invi ting suspicion. I believe the term is "profiling". A tactic that is both discriminatory and inappropriate. As i understand, it could be considered a Canadian Charter of Rights violation. I rarely post reviews as I am a big believer in the notion of being part of the solution. Since I haven't had anything to offer in terms of a solution to date I have chosen to grin and bear it, deciding my time and energy are better spent. However, after witnessing a third violent confrontation between a staff member and a homeless man last week and the continuing profiling and rude and completely unnecessary behavior of the store management and staff I feel compelled at this point to take whatever action I have at my disposal. Hence the review. I am a middle aged, educated, polite and respectful human being. I expect to be treated as such upon entering any business or retail establishment. I have done nothing to deserve the treatment I have received. I am troubled and disturbed by the culture which seems to pervade not only this business but many in the greater Edmo ton area. That is one of judge a book by its cover and assume guilt regardless of any inconvenient evidence of a crime to support such an attitude. I also want to point out that many.of the persons working in these locations are barely making a living wage, I would expect iti might ocurr to them that they are one or two lost pay cheques away from being in the very same situation as those homeless people they are so quick to judge and persecute. Let's also not overlook the fact that none of these staff are trained loss prevention officers and are not legally permitted to engage in violent confrontations with customers. I believe I've seen and experienced enough unwarranted judgment and mistreatment that.i can safely say I will not spend another Dime in any establishment that chooses to do business in such a manner. To say I'm disgusted would be an understatement. I will proceed with a human rights complaint and any other legal means of having my concerns addressed in a professional and timely manner. Enough is enough.
