Rooms are really starting to show their age along with lack of upkeep, ac works very minimally in hot summer days, service is friendly but sadly needs a lot of work to be a good place to stay

Clean and inviting lobby with an updated interior design. Went to an event located in one of the rooms

One of the worst places I stayed in. Canāt believe they are allowed to operate. This place is so run down and so in need for renovations and upgrade. The beds are super hard and uncomfortable and the location is very inconvenient. Check in was long and the front desk was understaffed. Hair in bed and in the bathroom. Not super clean place in general. We stayed there for a concert visit and it was so far away from the arena. Even though it shows up as a close by place.
Rooms: Run down and not clean and old. Needs updates badly

This hotel is old and run down. Seems to have multiple maintenance issues including poor heating, leaking roof all over the building, old crusty carpets and peeling wallpaper. The ambience of the lobby is quite odd, very dated appearance and large open spaces with an abundance of old furniture sitting around. The bed was actually fairly comfortable, although lacking a comforter, just a thin blanket. The staff were professional. Overall unless you get a good deal on a room here I would skip it.
Rooms: Old furniture, crusty carpet, no thermostat, moldy bathroom ceiling. Bed was the only acceptable part.
Walkability: Close to bus stops.

Went here for a Christmas party and this building is disgusting. The building was leaking water in the lobby and several locations on the main level. No attempt was being made to clean up the water for the several hours we were there.
The washrooms in our space smelled awful, like old rot. Clearly this building is full of mold and rot behind the walls from years of not cleaning up the water leaks. Lights were constantly turning off and on, hard to say if it was related to the massive dump of water leaking through the lighting in the lobby.
The food was decent and the space we rented looked okay after the sun went down.

On Sunday November 17 2024 in the evening 530pm to 830pm , there was a speed dating going on there as well. there were two ladies at front desk, one was philipino the other was caucasian . I was checking in and was not greeted or was not made to feel I was welcome which made the check in exprerience just awful, whoever hired this person made a mistake.
Nearby activities: Canadian Tire across the street.

Honestly it is tired. I didnāt want to take off my shoes in the room. The carpets seemed old and dirty. The bathtub was old and soap scum on the walls etc. And no one cleaned/tidied our room during our stay. Pass on this hotel.

Bad experienced at all during our stay, the in charge female receptionist was to rude during our inquiry about the price rate that we found out from one of the booking site which is affordable and quit fair price for our prefer. She shouldnāt act like that, she should accommodate us for the seek of our satisfactions being a customer. One of your receptionists staff was witnessed of what sheāve done and he was trying to calm me down and apologize for what Iāve felt after the unmannerly incident with. I hope it wonāt happen again with the other guests regardless of the nationality. Sheās a simple racist person!

Decent hotel located near downtown Edmonton. Great service. The only cons this place contains is it needs renovation. For example, my room has some stains on the carpet, some sections of the walls are damaged and need a repaint, one of the lamps in the room doesnāt work. Some parts of the hotel need renovation like some sections of the walls would need a repaint. Other than those minor issues, the hotel is great.

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and I have to say iām quite disappointed and dissatisfied with this hotel. It may have been one of my worst hotels stays yet, which is super unfortunate. Upon arrival we were waiting in the lounge area by the doors while we waited for our friend whose name it was under to also arrive at the hotel. The lobby area was nice and the lounge area was nice however it heavily smelled like rotten eggs, similar to what an gas leak smells like, it was pungent and strong and it really was the only thing I could smell everytime I walked by the check in desk and the lobby to leave the hotel. Just slightly concerning to be smelling rotten eggs in a hotel or any establishment, plus it was just truly super unpleasant. After our friend arrived at the hotel we walked to the check in desk to pay for our room and check in, we were told she cannot use her credit card she provided as the hotel is ānot allowedā to take it even though sheās used it at this hotel and multiple other hotels but then she was also not allowed to use her debit card as she is a resident of edmonton. We were scrambling at the desk trying to figure out what we could do, and the lady kept going back and fourth how sheāll just take the card, and take her debit card and then saying she couldnāt again. Then we were told if one of us wanted to pay with our debit card it would be a $250 damage deposit hold instead of the $100 it would be on a credit card. At this point itās been 20 or so minutes of all of us being extremely confused, as none of us had ever heard any of these rules which just added to the complications and confusion making check in excruciatingly difficult. At this point weāve stepped aside to figure out our payment options as a line was accumulating behind us. Once we go back up to the check in counter she said that sheās upgrading us to a suite for free which we thought was quite nice. We proceeded to put damage deposit hold on one debit card and paid with another, and finally were able to check in and go up to our room. Once getting into our room there were several things we noticed that were wrong, it smelled heavily like cigarette smoke, the couch was discoloured a dark and brown colour as of natural wear and tear, there was multiple dents and holes in the walls, splatter on multiple surfaces of the walls. One that was so dark I honestly thought it was blood until all of us were surrounding it trying to figure out what it was, it was musty, dirty the beds felt hard and lumpy. The room itself overall felt musty, grungy and did not feel like there was any overall cleanliness in the hotel room at all. It was not properly cleaned beforehand by any means. Lots of missed spots high up on ceilings in the bedroom etc. Everything was sticky and grungy and it really was a gross hotel room. To make this even worse we got back from an event early saturday morning and noticed the entire back of the toilet and the floor below was soaking wet, we thought maybe it was the shower so we just dried up behind the toilet and surrounding areas on the floor. I woke up around 11am Sunday morning and walked into the bathroom and noticed that a piece of our roof had collapsed. We immediately called the front desk and explained what happened, and maintenance came up looked at it and said that it was an issue from a room above us and they knew about it. So now it seems as if we were upgraded because no one else wanted to be in this room due to the damage and dirtiness. It was one of the dirtiest rooms iāve seen, i mean i didnāt even feel clean in there whatās so ever.
Rooms: absolutely disgusting, trashed, sticky stuff everywhere and we got pinged for it taking our damage deposit for a room that was AWFUL truly awful.
Safety: smells like thereās a gas leak & the roof in our hotel collapsed due to a water leak
Food and drinks: they were okay, slow service
Noteworthy details: We then were charged the damage deposit for something on the table, a stain on the couch, an
