They sell fake watches for $1000 and pass them off as “real” I would avoid this location like a plague. I brought it up with them and all they said was “tough luck” seriously avoid goodwill at all cost. They will steal your money. There is a value village across the street from them, go there instead.

I am updating my review. What can I say about Goodwill? Well this place they have gone to using the internet as a price guide. They will price say a Camera at a eBay price but THEY WILL NOT GUARANTEE unlike the eBay best offer (which will always be less because its best offer) and that is if anyone bought from them will guarantee it works or else a refund. With Goodwill its "Hey we don't understand the price will go down on eBay but we want the same price but no refunds either even though we got this item for LITERALLY free!!!"
Does this sound about right to you? So as a donateor what can you do? Give to INDEPENDANT thrift stores in your areas. Forget about Goodwill, Value Village and even Salvation Army. Any thrift store that tries to rip local people off by posting a internet price should be ignored.

Got stopped at the door by a smug, condescending security guard who expected me to hand over my backpack or he'd kick me out of the store. I was more than happy to open the bag when I came and left to show him the contents but he gave me a song and dance about how that would be too much work. So I just left and my friend who was with me (we drove all the way from Oliver). It's a shame if your store is having so much theft that you feel the need to confiscate people's bags but there's no way in hell I trust you with my property. Unlike your 2nd hand store I have valuables in my bag. Like my ID, debit cards, house keys, etc. Stores charge hefty fees for bags and the city is jamming it down our throats to bring our own bags to shop so you'd best find another solution because everyone has to carry bags to stores now. We went elsewhere instead, got everything we needed and won't be back. Also told my cousin and his wife who go to this store all the time and they weren't too impressed. The Value Village right across the street is a better option for me personally if Goodwill is going to treat me like a criminal for following city recommendations.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but Pauline needs to be removed from working the cashier counter immediately. She has no patience with the customers and is annoyed of their questions and requests.
Her behaviour was appalling to watch, the lack of patience she had with the customers and her dismissive attitude that she has no issue presenting so publicly is insane. Yes, the customer line was long, but that’s no excuse to treat people with such indecency and disrespect, and to rush them out as if they were some kind of nuisance. She did not help me at the till, but I watched her behaviour from the back of the line so it can’t get anymore unbiased that this. Her behaviour was especially disturbing when it came to an older lady who was having trouble understanding some policies, As a previous goodwill employee, that was crazy to witness.

I just watched Pauline, a cashier treat an older lady with the most despicable attitude. She had no patience whatsoever, was bordering yelling “i don’t know” anytime the customer tried to ask a question. The customer was not taking long, nor were they disruptive or rude. However, Pauline thought it was appropriate to roll her eyes, huff and puff for having to do what she’s paid for. This had nothing to do with me, but the behaviour of Pauline and how she treated that customer was shocking. She needs a course at customer service cuz that was ridiculous.

Prices are insane… you can buy on marketplace for half of the price or even less. I don’t like this location because of it.

Good selection and friendly staff. Anna, the cashier, is very friendly and definitely loves her job. Such a sweet woman!

Terrible experience dealing with backend drop off staff. I had a choice since goodwill and value village was in close proximity. I should of donated my items to value village. I dropped off 3 truck loads of household items 10 days ago and 2 full loads earlier this week and requested the staff that was unloading the truck to not take a few items mixed up in the items being donated and low and behold they ended up taking it anyways. Poor selection of items in the store compared to other locations and overpriced

Terrible staff, terrible service, horrendous items, super slow customer service at the front, and everyone gave dirty looks. By the way, I can't speak well and got racially profiled.
