This is a great shop on the west end. Ability to book online, full day drop offs, uber service if needed. I have never stayed in their waiting room but it looks incredible! They are very honest to customers and don't "talk down" to people who have no idea about anything to do with vehicle mechanics. They saved me from driving around with a faulty engine and I am so thankful!

I came to a Guardian for an oil change and inspection and was very pleasantly surprised with the process. I love it when I see a business look at an industry that is fraught with poor communication, untrustworthiness, and lack of transparency and respond with innovation. They have modernized to be competitive which I really appreciate.
You walk into the waiting room and are greeted with a well stocked snack and drink bar for waiting customers. They check you in and once your work is done they send you a link using a third party software to a comprehensive report that allows the client to see every single part of their inspection, with photos and quote all in one convenient place. They took me back to view my car and show me parts of the inspection that were concerning with my car on the hoist.
Although the frills of the waiting room aren't important to me, the transparency and communication is and Guardian has nailed that part of it.
The only thing for improvement would be timely delivery of the report, as I did have to call a couple times to follow up on sending that after my appointment. Looking forward to getting more work done with them.

Great service! Appreciate the open and helpful communication the whole time my car was being serviced, key drop off made it easy to get my car in and not have to take time off work to go drop it off. They even gave me a complimentary vehicle inspection and a list of quotes for all of the concerns they found. Will definitely come back for all my future mechanical repairs!

Wonderful service. Their waiting room is comfortable with quality complimentary snacks and beverages. Profesional and friendly staff and I like how they send you images of anything that requires servicing, along with a record of what's been done. I would highly recommend Guardian Automotive and will be back!

First experience with this shop, and so far, I see why their rating is so high.
They held off doing work that didn't need doing right away. Provided a detailed document and link to pictures and notes of all work done and inspection findings.

I don’t post reviews often, but this business surely impressed us. We were referred by my sister and had an oil + tire change last year. The first experience was not 100% as the car came back with a leak in the engine that was not there prior; however, they rectified the situation quickly and thoroughly. When I came back this year for the same service, I was impressed with the professionalism, thoroughness and competence of their mechanics and overall staff. The complimentary snacks and clean bathroom were nice touches too! My dad now also brings his vehicle here. Highly recommend!

Oddly enough, I brought my car here for a Groupon oil change and a 40-point inspection. Cost me $70. One of the best things I ever did. The stuff is amazing. Jess your a sweetheart. They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car. No lies. No joke, no arguments. No extra fees. And they didn't ask me for any extra money. They just did. The service that they were asked to do. Showed me the results of the inspection. Emailed it to me. Emailed me the cost of any repairs if I chose to do any. And then at that point asked me to think about whatever I wanted to do and whatever was in my budget. And at that point I just thought you know what now. There's some honesty, there's some proof and there is just some good old fashioned straightforward business sense. Thank you Guardian automotive. Now this is a Groupon worth buying! And not even just for a Groupon but a place to take your car for some great work and some great customer service!

Guardian is hands down the BEST place to take your vehicle. My experience here every time is exceptional from start to finish. The entire process is seamless & they keep you updated throughout, send you photos & are extremely thorough.
Welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, Jess is an absolute sweetheart and she knows her stuff! Brian was great when I called he knew my issue needed to be addressed & got me right in, they always do.
They are reliable and extremely professional. Thank you team you guys are great!! I can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Recently bought a car from a private seller which almost immediately started having issues. Ending up going to the dealership for service, but the owner at Guardian Auto was super helpful and able to provide super helpful advice for me. Definitely will be coming back if I need any work done!

Very thorough with pictures and detailed descriptions on things that need to be worked on. I highly recommend this place for an oil change. The modern lounge is big and very comfortable. There are 2 electric fire places with leather seats and couches. Got to play The Simpsons arcade game on the arcade machine in the lounge. There’s even drinks, coffee and snacks, all complimentary. I will be back and let my friends and family know about this place.

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. With a few things going wrong with my vehicle they were quick to get me in and fix all my concerns. Even after they told me to come back to get my tires torqued in 100km for free. I had a low tire and they filled that right up too. Also sent a follow up message to see how my vehicle was doing. So I am very impressed with the service. I will definitely be in contact in the future.
