Didn't really explore to long. But it had a great selection of sauces, noodles, vegetables, candy, frozen foods and pre made foods. The extra eateries inside was a great add on. It's nice to see the good being used smartly. Honestly for the size of the store, it had a large amount of items.

This is a cute grocery store in a central location. There is somewhat limited selection, but enough to get your basics. The food is a bit on the expensive side and particularly the produce is selling above market value but is not necessarily better quality than other stores. This is a good place to go to buy a few quick items but would not recommend for all your shopping

Not as big as the Calgary trail location, but it has the necessities. They have a lot of Korean snacks, goods, and they have a variety of vegetarian instant noodle bowls that Superstore and other supermarket don't have.

I bought two white peaches yesterday. They looked good from the outside, but actually were not fresh at all. They began to get rotten inside and taste bitter. I would definitely not suggest buy the fruit here, and they always sell the fruit that are not fresh.

Very nice shop. Great selection is very oriented around students' needs. Great place for korean food. I love it. Highly recommend the best authentic Korean food you will ever try. And it is right across from the U OF A campus.

Absolutely disgusting service, I had a return from the Calgary trail location (which I had loved for months now) I had bought the product about 7 days ago and wanted to return to this store as it is more convenient and I don’t drive and Calgary trail is far for me. I get there and I want a return, the first cashier sends me to someone else I assume she is a new hire and doesn’t know how to do it and go as directed. I get to second lady and she is so rude and mean to me. She calls the other cashier and yells at her for sending me to her. She then tells me that she can’t do the return because it’s from Calgary trail I have never heard a franchise that does that and I ask for a manager she tells me this isn’t one (this was a lie because the owner was in the building, I discovered this later) the Calgary location is quite far and I go to that location one. A month so that was out of the question and I explained. Am so upset but she tells me that it’s not in the system as they don’t sell the product and I am mad but I let it go and their nothing that can be done right? On my way out I got a feeling they were lying and being racist towards me ( am a black woman) by the way. I decide to cal Calgary trail and they tell me that the university can take my return am so mad at this point. I ask the lady at Calgary trail to stay on the line and talk to the cashier. I return to the second (rude lady) and she is talk big to the owner or Manager that she told wasn’t in the building. I put the phone on speaker they can hear, they then start arguing with the lady on the phone about the “conditions” of the product (box) I tell them it’s new and unopened which it was with the seal at the top. Then the owner opens the product to find a brand new product with everything sealed. I am so mad at this point it’s so insulting. She then does my return a return she said she can’t process as it is isn’t in the system (a lie)I will list my issues in point form to simplifyRudenessRacismLies about the policyI even saw their return policy at the back and it doesn’t say any of the things they told me.Lies about a higher up being present.I would give a zero rating I can’t lie very nasty people and am so disgusted that I had to do this review ( I have never done one before)If you are a person of colour don’t go here, racist people at this location.

I generally like this store. It has a lot of Korean products that used to be hard to find. The prices are not good unless there is a sale, but they have some great sales every now and then, so it's worth checking the flyer or going in store to see what's on clearance.I used to love the sweet and spicy fried chicken here, but was very disappointed the last time I went. There was hardly any sauce - only a drizzle. The quality went down and the price went up.

Update:My recent visit to get something quick to eat at H-Mart turned into a culinary misadventure. The Chop Chop roll, dressed to impress, tasted less 'catch of the day' and more 'catch of last week'. The fish was fishier than a politician's promise, and the rice? It was so dry and hard, I considered putting a tooth on standby. Alas, this trip was less 'sushi delight' and more 'might've lost a bite'. Truly a raw deal!__________Great service, clean restaurant, decent food, but grocery tends to be much pricer than other gorcery stores.

Edit: I chatted with a cashier at my last visit and was told the immature cashier no longer works here. There seems to have been another change in management, and the store has gotten a lot cleaner and reasonably priced! It's nice to see they listen to their customers, and I hope things continue like this. :)I live by College Plaza and have been shopping here since the store opened. I've seen it go through a rollercoaster of management, and while the store isn't perfect, I frequent this place from the friendliness of their cashiers. In recent months, they've drastically changed the cashiers, and one of them has been extremely immature. I've seen her leave her register, with customers lined up, to DANCE around the store, have heard her raise her voice with customers who have a language barrier, and even heard her announce over the intercom for customers to "get out of the store." She just seems impatient with her basic responsibilities, seemingly in a rush to leave her register again to continue socializing with co-workers. I've never in my life seen anything like this at any other grocery store and I really hope something gets done about this!

The area is decorated very well. We got ramen, yaki udon, and takoyaki. Service was quick, and the food was delicious. The menu has a lot of dishes, so there’s a lot of options to choose from. I highly recommend coming over for a meal.

I've shopped sparsely here for years. A Korean grocery store I think. I often only go to grab Honey Butter chips or the odd thing.I noticed a sign showing they serve beer there recently. I knew there was a restauraunt inside. Sure enough, they do. Stopped in, got a tall beer of Sapporo I believe. Got a Bulgogi stirfry, it was still sizzling when it came out. All in all, it was a great experience!

Korean grocery store. It's got fair size but caters to the university crowd. It's not nearly as large as the Calgary Trail H Mart or TNT but it still has a lot of good selection. Totally recommend.
