I’ve been coming to Hive for their rowing class for several years now and it is fantastic. Most row classes spend half the time on the rower and half the time doing bodyweight and free weight exercises, so they never get boring! All their instructors are energetic and friendly, and encourage you to get the most out of each workout.
They have showers and clean towels available after each workout for no extra charge. This is a great bonus, especially if you're heading to work or have plans after your session. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, the classes are accessible yet challenging. I highly recommend Hive to anyone looking for an efficient and enjoyable workout in a positive environment!

I’ve been going to Hive for a few months now using the recovery room and I love it. The cold plunge and sauna they have is amazing and it has become an essential part of my routine. The owners are very friendly ladies along with all the staff I always feel welcomed here. Very grateful to have the privilege to access these facilities as hive is the only place in Edmonton that has cold plunge.

Been going here for about a month. Started with a spring challenge and got to try out all of the different class styles with unlimited classes. I'm continuing with 8 classes a month. I really love the variety and the instructors are all awesome! My personal favorite classes are Row + Strength, Intensity, Circut, Pilates Blend and Cycle.

Came in from out of town to do a row class with my sister over Easter weekend. Was an amazing class, great instructor, great music, great vibes. And the mint scented towel was an amazing touch at the end! Thanks for the great work out!

The recovery room has been a game changer in my health. I am a marathon runner and recently dealing with an autoimmune issue that is a medical mystery to the doctors. My hands and feet swell, turn purple and feel like they are on fire. I took the matter into my own hands and started cold plunging. In the last month, cold plunging has a huge healing effect. My core temperature remains down, the swelling in my hands and feet has gone down and I feel more energized. It only keeps getting better and better. It's a process, but finally I have relief! AMAZING knowledgeable staff too! Thanks hive

Hive has an incredible variety of classes, very friendly staff and supportive instructors. The cold towels at the end of class are a special touch and the facility is very clean. I enjoy the morning classes, they are a great way to start my day. The community aspect of the classes is fantastic, everyone is warm and friendly and there are a lot of laughs. Check out Kira's spin and Charlotte's intensity classes for a challenge in a fun, upbeat environment :)

Sauna followed by cold tub is the best hangover cure found to date. Staff is pretty decent too.

A really cute workout studio. ♥️It has many different types of workouts to switch from daily. If you go everyday or quite often as I have, it’s worth the membership!

I recently picked up at Hive as they’ve added Barre classes! The space is really great, the studio is clean and well kept, and their front of house staff are very friendly. The Barre classes have been great and maybe some of the best, even with the lack of actual Bars. I’ve attended classes from Michelle S, Tess B, and Ciara P, which all have been top shelf! I do appreciate the provision of equipment, namely yoga mats, weights, tension bands, and a refreshing towel after class. This is nearly a 5 out of 5 review, but a few points I’d hope be considered before:- as great as the Barre classes are, having physical bars would be nice- as nice and loud as the sound system is, I’ve noticed the instructors having to contend with an audio transmitter that cuts out regularly which needs replacing/upgrading. It doesn’t appear they are on the common Shure BLX 14 system most group fitness studios are on. With the amount of instructions and movement, it would be best for there to be something more reliable for the instructors- I would love to see a Barre pass; as far as the class rates go, they are definitely on the highest end of things when it comes to drop ins/memberships. As I will solely be attending for barre, this is the most I’ve had to pay per class so far (out of any of my group fitness memberships). The inclusion of a couple recovery sessions might sweeten the pot, but I’m sure folks interested in a single class type would find a reduced rate enticing. All in all, great spot in Edmontons group fitness community; maybe just hoping there’s some tweaks and fixes to make it the perfect experience!
