Wanna rent here?
What to expect
Countless notices to do inspections. We've lost a lot of trees due to this owned by the city of Edmonton shit show. You will be a spec. The people that run home Ed would NEVER accept the conditions they ignore and expect tenants to live in. They wait until the last min to try to fix issues with bandaids they will try to convince you will work. Each notice comes with a threat of a $150 CHARGEBACK if you don't let them in....but half the time they don't bother to show up!! You will sit all day waiting to let someone in that never arrives or has the common decency to call to cancel or reschedule. Your time is worth nothing.
The minimum housing standards are an issue. Don't be fooled by the pictures on Google. They still have suites with old shag carpet. Mold. Mold. Mold.

Castle bra . Every two weeks pest controll. And the worst managment will send it to you a big penality up to( 500$) for not preparing well. We spend the whole night preparing more than 2 hours every two weeks . And they put pressure i think to live the house so they can rent some body else.
Becarfull if you say something they are going to use it against you. I hate it now living in home ed. Poor managment . You do not even know who is the manager. No responsibility at all.

"I had an excellent experience with Zaher Suliman and Home Ed Company. Zaher is a responsive and attentive landlord who genuinely cares about his tenants. From the moment I moved in, he ensured that everything was in perfect condition and made himself available for any questions or concerns I had. The property was well-maintained, and any maintenance requests were addressed promptly. I appreciate Zaher's professionalism and dedication, making my time here enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

Being living in Home Ed is like living in Main Street equity Corp right now.I read one review on google review for home ed ( some one receive about 10,000 Canadian dollar related to renovate when he move out from home ed ).The house is old and they paint it before you move. It is full of cocrach before we move, and they send us a bunch of notice of Tennant charges related to Cocrach up to 700$. beware of the Tennant charges. Some of the managers are doing things on purpose. Stay away from Home Ed town house .

Beware home ed tenants . Some of the managers doing bad things on purpose try to charge you with money. we receive up to 700$ related to pest control. if you did not pay the tenant charges with in 10 days, home ed will send notice of termination and you have to live the house before the end of month. this is a joke. I never saw this before. they try to threat tenant by sending notice of termination.

Worst management ever , (mission glen) managers parking in my neighbour parking stall , I parked there and they’ve called a towing company and towed my car and I tried to talk with the manager her name is Allycia she lied and said I punch the office door couple times and I spoke with her supervisor his name is mark and he didn’t do anything regarding that and POLICE showed up a day after and asking for my statement and what happened there’s no parking sign on parking lot and no towing company info in case someone towed their vehicle . Home edd screwed up for not dealing with that attitude laying pos manager !! Shame on home ed not dealing with that and let a lying manager calls the police on a tenant?!! Her boss his name is mark with home ed didn’t get back to me or deal with this .

This is a great organization for finding an inexpensive rental. Although we didn't find anything in our preferred area we will keep checking back for availability.

It is highly recommended that you conduct a thorough move-out inspection to avoid being charged with renovation fees of up to $10,000 or more. It is advisable to have a witness present during the inspection available to attest to the inspection process. When discussing any matters with Home Ed, it is essential to use email as a communication channel, as they have a history of denying verbal statements made during phone calls.
It is unacceptable that when Home Ed does come to do maintenance, they insist that the tenant write a good review. Despite making several maintenance requests, nothing has been done, and the screen doors have been ripped throughout Mission Glen townhouse. It has been three months since I requested them to be fixed, but the management team has not come to my suite yet. Moreover, the mice problem persists, and I am not sure if it's from the broken screen doors or holes in the foundation. Though I am paying subsidized rent, it is unfair that some tenants pay $815 per month, while others pay $1150.
It is outrageous that they threaten to charge a market price of $1450 if I don’t comply with their request immediately at the end of the lease. Since moving in, I have been lied to, manipulated, and treated like a lower-class citizen. The temperament is very "do as I say," or else, I will face eviction.
Furthermore, most tenants in the complex have not received the tenant handbook, and when I ask to see it, I am told it's online, and I can change it as I see fit. It is unacceptable to treat people like they are worth less because they are struggling financially. With Home Ed, you lose out on your human rights. I have left because I was manipulated, lied to, and treated inhumanely.
