One star only due to the fact that your shop doesn’t have the proper tools to do the job
Not sure if the management must provide tools or the employees
In any case I think you need to add to your work process the following procedures
Before starting work make sure you have the tools and not improvised tools on the spot to get the job done with risk of damaging the customer property
They said it was too tight and that’s why they had a hard time and not because of improvised tools
The spec for the plastic case of the oil filter is 25 nm so add to your toolbox a torque wrench
84.99 $ for labour is excessive for what you provide

Went in this evening (November 21) to have my oil checked. The gentleman with the beard working was able to check my oil for me and show me how to check the oil life percentage in my car. I really appreciate that because now I can hold off on the oil change for a while(the dealership I bought my car from was advising me that I must go in every 6 months for an oil change which i learned isnt always necessary. I appreciate the guys at Jiffy Lube they are always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and I feel they are honest and trustworthy. Also thanks to the sweet girl working this evening for the little treat:)

Went in for an oil change.=done.requested transmission fluid check.shown sludgy fluid from my transmission vs new fluid on a sample brd.new fluid recommended. Passed on change for time being.1wk later stopped by Jiffy lube in Spruce Grove to change fluid.Was shown much cleaner fluid in my car that was much cleaner on my dipstick.Was told that my fluid was acceptable and told by an honest tech that replacement of my transmission fluid is not reqd.Will never go back to Jlube in the.Edmonton.Obviously crooked ,dishonest techs and service girl..Do not go to this location.They are thieves and totally dishonest...
