Kinsmen Sports Centre is a large and expansive facility offering a wide variety of fitness programs and activities, including swimming, badminton, tennis, running, pickleball, and a huge gym. The pool area is clean and well set up for meets, with lots of seating for viewing, top-notch timing equipment, and multiple lifeguards. The facility is efficient and offers modern, hassle-free amenities. However, the centre can be very busy during peak hours and some areas are a little dated. A major point for improvement is the limited washroom availability for large crowds, with only a few options available. During events, the venue can become very hot with no water fountains or concessions for hydration on site. Parking is also challenging if you leave. While the facility is generally great, some specific areas like the centre courts can be extremely hot. Overall, it is considered an amazing and wonderful facility with chill, super nice staff. Many find it absolutely worth the membership cost and highly recommend it as a top-notch recreation centre.

Attended Provincial swim meet. Facility has lots of seating for viewing, but I recommend something padded to sit on. Areas were clean, pools clean, and well set up for meet. Three lifeguards pool side. FYI, there are only two washrooms for very large crowds. Found one if you leave pool and go to side of building that has... read full comment
