In a pinch, Lowe's can be a useful resource, but it's generally a struggle to get help with finding products in the store. Most of the people are nice, but I stopped shopping there because I just feel that maybe I shouldn't ask any assistance. Their online shopping site is a hassle and not worth the effort. It's too bad because the outlet near me is in a great location but badly managed.

At Home Depot you can always find at least one till staffed. Everytime I open the VIP app I need to login just to get to the bar code etc.

I was willing to buy my paint here even though it cost more than anywhere else, however the paint associate was not willing to find the colour that I literally just picked up here a week ago.Computer came up blank so that was the end of her ability and drive to find it, pathetic.Don't waste your time here with paint, go literally anywhere else to get real service.

I bought a gazebo set from this unprofessional absolute garbage location on June 10th. When they delivered the gazebo they offered to place it into my garage and tilted metal forward and scraped the epoxy floor damaging multiple areas. Originally I talked to Phillip who told us to send him an email, he never replied or got back to us about the email at all. Afterwards I walked onto the store on 3 separate occasions speaking to Megan and another manager. Each manager just passing the buck onto another. I then walked in a fourth time and now managers are refusing to even come to the counter. Take my advice and stay far away. I won't stop until my garage is fixed and that includes if i have to get a lawyer involved. Worst service I've ever received.

My husband and I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes and bought the extended warranty, which is through Comerco. On the July long weekend we started having some issues with it and put in a service request on July 6th. Between then and the day the tech came out which was July 14th the freezer had quit working and we had to throw out about $250 worth of vegetables and meat. The tech told my husband the parts would be in the following Tuesday, July 18th. When my husband called the tech he was told that the parts weren't in and no ETA. No one called to update us on what was going on and when I called they had no ETA on the parts. We were offered an allowance for a mini fridge but had to pay up front and wait for reimbursement, which we couldn't afford. We did not hear anything again and when I called last week I was told the parts would be in yesterday. My husband called and was told that the parts are not in and won't be arriving until September 8th now, although an email to me states September 11th. We have received an email offering us the same amount for a new fridge that we paid for this one but they will not cover the cost of delivery and the warranty will be null and void. We also have not been offered compensation for the spoiled food. We are very disappointed and definitely feel that delivery should be paid for by either Lowes or Comerco and same with monetary compensation for food loss for this unbelievable handling of a broken refrigerator. We will not buy from Lowes again and definitely will not buy an extended warranty. I will wait and see if something better is offered.

I want to commed a man named Alaa that really helped me out today. I asked if he could he help me bring 10 bags of flower soil to my car and not only did he willingly help me, but he made an effort to organize it so nicely. It's just so nice to have great help from someone these days and he went above and beyond for me. Thank you again Alaa. I really appreciate it!

In Late August 2022, I purchased a York Air Conditioner (AC) unit through Lowes from Always Plumbing. We requested a 16-SEER AC unit and told the salesperson from Always Plumbing that our house is 2375 Sq ft. He then recommended York AC model YCE and gave us a quote. I accepted this since this was what I wanted. The quote stated 14.5-16.5, which we thought was okay because 16 SEER was in the quote. The AC was installed, and we used the AC unit about three times because it was Fall already, so we covered up it for another summer. This year we noticed the YCE unit is not cooling lower than 23oC and recently discovered that Always Plumbing gave us 14 SEER and not the 16 SEER we requested. We found that the YCE model does not come in 16 SEER and is 14 SEER at maximum. Also, Always Plumbing recommended a wrong spec that could not cool a big home like ours because they wanted to sell off the model. We learned during our findings that the YCE model is 3 tons and can only cool 1600 to 1900 sq ft.I have called and visited Lowes several times and have requested Always Plumbing to reach out to us on the issue, but I have not heard from them. I feel cheated by both Lowes and Always Plumbing. I would not have accepted any deals from Always Plumbing without researching and finding out about the company first. The involvement of Lowes and my trust in them, which I extended to Always Plumbing, has put me in this situation. I am so unhappy and unsatisfied with their service. Please be very careful when dealing with Lowes (especially Manning Lowes). They will side with their subcontractors to cheat you even when it's evident that you have been duped.

Valerie is outstanding. She went above and beyond on helping us find the specific shrubs and price matched. Saved us an extra trip to another store. She was the best customer service on the floor that I have seen. Great job

Does not even deserve one star. I called ahead to have a staff member physically check stock as I would have to drive over half an hour one way to get to this store. One of the few in the city with supposed stock. Staff member who picked up the phone sounded disinterested and treated me as though I was a bother. I kept calm and polite throughout the conversation while he couldn’t wait to get rid of me and brush me off like a nuisance. He claimed to look for the item, came back on the line and asked me in a hurried, frustrated tone how many I wanted. I asked for 2 to be placed on hold. He told me it would be on the hardware desk. I got to the hardware desk, it was the wrong material, in the wrong size. Despite the fact that I gave him an item number. The employee who ended picked up where his co worker left off at hardware, fumbled about and looked everywhere but it was ultimately a futile attempt and a waste of time. He was focused on washing his hands clean of the whole ordeal. And theorizing on how this could have happened. I needed solutions. Not apologies, excuses or theories.I decided to escalate the situation to the manager on duty. Ended up dealing with the Assistant Manager. She too would be unable to find said item. She would then go on to say that the wrong item was supposedly in the spot of the item number I gave. I doubt this very much for two reasons.1. It was a narrow and tight spot, my item was 30” x 36” the item put aside was 24” x 48”. It wouldn’t fit vertically, and it wouldn’t make sense to lay in down horizontally as it would be unnecessarily low and would stick out onto the aisle. A potential trip hazard.2. The compartment/shelf was empty when I was taken there. Over the phone I was directly asked how many I needed with no mention of how much stock there actually was. One would assume if there were only two items on the shelf the conversation would pick up somewhere along the lines of “I have two”. Immediately asking how many someone needs without explaining how few there are beforehand feels unnatural to say the least. Potentially awkward conversations aside, I’m expected to believe that in that tiny narrow shelf where the product would have awkwardly sat in was exactly the amount I requested. Possible, but highly unlikely.Continuing on, I was also told that it was very similar to the item I wanted despite the size being waaaaaay off. Corrugated Plastic is entirely different from Lexan plastic panels. This statement is asinine and is not far off from saying paper towels and toilet paper are one and the same, or similar enough.I was told that they are unable to give me something that they don’t have. Well, yeah… that goes back to why I called in the first place. I was just given empty statement after empty statement, all with hints of condescension. Canned responses referencing my frustration, with no direct admission of fault or responsibility. Offering no solution whatsoever. At this point, it became clear to me that the agenda was not customer service, it was to sweep everything under the rug and get rid of an upset customer.I tried my best to stay calm and asked for an alternative solution. Perhaps a similar material in a similar size. I was offered no recourse or recompense. The utter lack of knowledge and professionalism shown by all staff that day is only surpassed the indifference shown when confronted with the issue.I have now wasted more than an hour and a half of what little free time I have this day. I still have another 30+ minute drive home. I’ve wasted gas. And worst of all , I have cancelled plans for the evening. With absolutely nothing to show for it.
