Loved all the clothes and accessories. A little on the pricier end, but quality of material and mostly the fits are amazing. The service is on the next level. Very courteous and helpful. Clean & spacious changing rooms, as well.

One of the staff was extemely rude to me just because my daughter used the unmarked staff washroom because the other was marked temporarily closed. Highly unprofessional. If it is staff washroom mark it so. But still, what difference does it make?

I went to get dressed for the 60th anniversary kidney gala. The manager Serina was amazing! All staff were sweet, helpful and so encouraging. I now am in love with this place. ?

I love Melanie Lynn clothes. I went into the store and was greeted asking if I needed assistance. I love that it wasn’t pressure sales like other stores. I asked for sizes and was helped. I was able to find some great items and even ordered a few things not in the store. A great store.

I wish I read the reviews about Melanie Lyne in South Common before I shopped there. It appears we all have had similar experiences of discrimination based on skin colour and looks.I walked into the store and was not greeted. Instead I was being given some rather uncomfortable looks from Lynda. Initially I thought it’s just her personality and did bother. I was looking for a dress, went to the back, I saw Lynda hurriedly came to the back and spoke to Genevive, another associate.They both looked at us and were talking (like teenagers) and showing a disgust on their face. Despite they were free and were not attending to others, they did not even bother to ask whether I needed help.I proceeded to the changing room and while looking at the mirror, I could clearly see thempointing fingers at the dressing stall whichI was in and giggling. By then the manager Serena walked in, and commented on the dress I wore. I felt she was a decent person. But soon after she left. I needed another size in a dress, I had to ask Lynda whether I could speak to Serena- not knowing she was the manager. She told me she was in a meeting and could not come. Lynda offered to help, but I refused as she sounded sarcastic. She said- “oh I can call my colleague, she is Indian and she can speak your language.”This was extremely insensitive of her and against what Melanie Lyne as an organization stands for. The manager was later called and took the matter in hand. I did make a purchase as I had no shop around. Else I would have taken my business to West Edmonton ML or elsewhere.Following a survey I received after the purchase, I conveyed my experience.The Regional Manager contacted me and apologized. Not her fault but should invest in quality recruitment.Melanie Lyne as an organization, MUST do better in training their staff. Cultural and sensitivity training should be delivered to front end staff.Based on my personal experience and what I have read so far, I will AVOID shopping there.

I went there yesterday evening around 4:30pm . I was the only customer at that time. I found two ladies at the checkout desk talking to each other didnt.greet me or even look at me when passing. I went check few stuff and another lady was in the back steaming the dresses. no Greeting either or ask if I meed help.. I stayed there less than 10 mins felt uncomfortable and got the feeling that they thought am not a buyer. I left and went to Laura and I was received well and they helped.me.with what I need. I don't know whats wrong with Melanie store South Common. this is second time I'm getting a cold welcome.. as much as I love the stuff from.this store.. going forward I will buy online. Thanks Laura for meeting my needs
