My family and I have strongly supported memory express for many, many years. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there. We went there to upgrade our computer to a 5090 graphics card and a power supply. There was a big line. So I just wanted to know what the price was before. I purchased, so I put one foot behind the counter casually. Just look at the price but I didn't have my glasses. So I couldn't see the box. Then, the guy behind the counter bit, my head off like it was a ten year old kid. You're not allowed back here STEP BACK NOW!! i was told. I told him to settle down and talk to me correctly and not like a child. Then he once again said in a even more aggressive voice. STEP BACK!! then, I got aggressive. Then, the manager came and said to me what the guy behind the counter should have said in the first place. I'm sorry, sir. It's against our policy for people to come back here there's hundreds of thousands of dollars of parts back here. The staff there need to settle down and stop being so aggressive with the customers. I purchased my 5090 graphics card somewhere else and unfortunately, will not be coming back here again.
For the record, I did call the manager and apologize on my end. He didn't care whatsoever. He was like talking to the air.
A response to the response. You're blaming all this on me when it was your guy that got aggressive first I was just standing up for myself. I'm not gonna let some little man, be aggressive and mouthy with me without defending myself. It's good to know that your staff do not get held accountable for their mistakes. I hope people read this and understand that it's not healthy to go into your store and there's tons of other computer stores in the city.

Went to get my laptop screen fixed back in 2021 however my laptop stopped working as well so I decided to get a new laptop. Now, in december 2025, I tried to fix and upgraded laptop for my little sister and with the help of a diffefent computer tech and when he opened the backing he noticed that ALL OF THE PARTS WERE SWITCHED OUT WITH CHEAPER AND WORSE INTERNAL PARTS. memory express would've been the only ones who had opened my computer, since no one else other than them would have opened it. DO NOT GO TO MEMORY EXPRESS. THEY WILL TAKE OUT AND REPLACE YOUR LAPTOP/PC PARTS WITH WORSE AND CHEAPER PARTS. And this isn't a new experience, trustpilot has many other complaints for memory express about theft and terrible service.

Excellent experience at Memory Express West Edmonton. Paul, the manager, was amazing and took the time to answer all of our questions about the Bambu Lab 3D printer without rushing us. Tim also was excellent and gave us very helpful advice during checkout. My wife and I are extremely happy with the service. Highly recommend!

This was my first time going to memory express and genuinely I had so much fun, I was greeted by Rayand and he was so kind and funny, I hadn't had such a great social interaction and great customer service in a long time. The whole interaction went so smooth he was very knowledgeable about pcs and had a great conversation and I felt very welcomed. Will for sure be coming back!

Please look at the pictures and then come back to this
What happened? These fans are essential how the HAVN case keeps the system cool, I can fix the cables obscuring the screen
I wouldnt have cared if you horizontally mounted it if it was a space thing with the fans.
Its a $10,0000(ish) build man, I would've bought those side mounted fans they're critical to how the cooling management works.I assumed they came with the case. Due to it beings a 9950X3D / 5090 its going to need that temperature management
I was only told by Sales that we needed to go with corsair bottom fans due to Tryx not having the bigger ones. No one ever said it was missing side fans. Your store literally advertises this case showing a gif with how the thermal management system works with those two side fans being critical
I dont understand how this possibly could have been missed during the build.
I live 2.5 hours away
Also I understand this is your tech's first time with this case, I'm not throwing shade at anyone I just can't comprehend this
None of the boxes had the wifi attachment for the back of the computer
Video Card should have been horizontally mounted as it was meant to be (I dont care that the case is able to vertically mount)
Cooling tubes partially obscuring panorama 360 screen shouldn't be exposed and should be running down the opposite side like 99% of every other HAVN build.
Wires just in full view even on the fans lol
I'm angry when writing this review, but everything I'm saying is true. The absolute sheer lack of professionalism is shocking
It has all the hardware I want short of the sidefans, why would it be built so badly? This doesn't make sense. Do I just return and buy the same hardware from the south store and hope for the best?
