I had such an amazing experience today. I walked in heart broken with my diamond from my engagement ring missing. Aayushi had answered my initial phone call and was so kind and polite, I later came in and saw her in person and she was a delight. She had informed Lester the assistant manager who came out and greeted me and explained everything. I never felt more informed and aware and secure. Thank you so much!!!We were able to come up with a solution and I was brought to tears. This company made 2 of the best choices hiring these employees I'll continue to be a dedicated customer and have this be my one and only go to for a jeweler.

Had an amazing experience at Michael Hill! We went in just to look at Wedding Bands and not with plans to purchase yet, however we found the perfect bands. Lester was so knowledgeable, there was no pressure, the price was very reasonable and we are so happy we choose to walk in this day. Thank you so much for the meticulous service, we will definitely be back for future purchases!

I took a watch that I purchased at the Southgate store to Southgate to ask some questions about the dials - what they did and how I could operate them. They could not answer my question and got very defensive. The store clerk asked me why I cared so much. I was very angry and took it to Lester who is the assistant manager at Michael Hill. He offered me a refund after we could not figure out the problem. My experience there was top notch. Thank you Lester!

I just called because I was in on Saturday trying on rings, and I believe I left the ring I had on in the store. The man who answered told me that it wasn’t there and when I asked him to double check, as the ring has sentimental value to me, he hung up on me. Not a great experience at all. Will not be going there again in the future.

I wish I could give 0 stars… Had a similar story to what others have experienced. I bought a necklace, bracelet, and ring for my girlfriend who was not with me at the time. I was told that she would be able to go to any Michael Hill and have her bracelet and ring sized given that I bought the 3 year proctection plan. When we return to the store to have the bracelet sized we were told to come back since they were busy for Xmas. We just returned and were told that the proctection plan we purchased and were assured would cover the bracelet sizing in fact does NOT cover sizing! The manager, Lester, and the woman who work at the WEM location were exceptionally rude and told us it’s not their problem and a sizing will cost $100! Adding insult to injury, they laughed and argued that they did nothing wrong. PLEASE, PLEASE, do not go to any Michael hill especially the WEM location unless you want to lied to, argued with, laughed at, and robbed! There are plenty of options nearby who can treat you honestly.

(NOTE posted this review to another jewlers page, they saw the review, called me with in 30 minutes of the review being posted on the page, and offered to fix the issue quicker, and the issue is not even theres to fix.)The service is unprofessional. Dec 23rd the wife bought a ring for me, with it being close to Christmas budget was already tight enough. They informed her, she could bring the ring back January 3rd go get it resized. We brought the ring back January 6, and they told us the ring would take 2-3 weeks to get resized. The ring was gone for 3 and half, to almost 4 weeks. It came back damaged on the iner part of the band. Now has to get sent back to the jeweler, and it might be gone another 2 weeks at most, so almost 6 weeks with out the ring.The wife went to speak with the manager today, and asked what they can do to make the situation better, "don't forget the wife is pregnant is pregnant" the Manger offered a refund, but he would have to get approval from another manager before he could.The response to the issue was, the ring is outside the 30 day period so we can't give a refund, what doesn't help is that michael hills had the ring for the whole 30days, so what are we suppose to do??? All I know is the wife, and I are very disappointed with the service, and the quality that the ring was in when we where going to get it back today. Now because of those damages it needs to be sent back out.I have talked with other jewlers and shared my experience on the the wait period I am experiencing with, and they are all saying it is very unusual to be waiting that long for a ring to get resized.Very unprofessional.

I had a really bad experience at this location. The manager was way too rude. I had my gift receipt to return an item but he denied the refund saying that he needs the original receipt for that. I asked him to put the receipt number in the System and pull out the original receipt. But he was very disrespectful and rude and didn’t cooperate at all. I was very disappointed. God knows what other employees of this location are learning under such a non-professional manager.

If you ever wish to experience how racism and negligent behaviour works, you should visit this store and trust me they wont let you down! The young manager did not leave a chance being racist to an Asian!Welcoming a customer who wanted to return an item having proper receipt with big attitude and ignorance is their thing.I have purchased from Michael Hill for numerous time but I have never witnessed such bad customer service. All thanks to the Young White guy(Manager) who showed me the biggest example of the most dumb guy ever by talking rude and never trying to understand my situation. Even after having every proof to accept the return he insisted on not taking it back just coz i bought it from a different location! His dumbest act was about asking my ID to give me a return like bro what were you trying to match in the system? I never showed any ID while purchasing so there's no point in asking it while return!I wont recommend this location even to my enemy!Thanks for the laughs(whole staff)

I just wanted to give a huge props to Lester for helping me out with my experience at this Michael Hill. Super Professional and Extremely helpful.I walked in with only a rough idea of what I wanted, and within just a minute of talking Lester got it! He immediately showed me what seems like a carbon copy of what I was envisioning and helped me get it at a great price! Very Grateful for the help!
