Dont order anything online from Michels: Orderd red roases flowers online (with instacart) to wife's birthday because im out of peovince. I place the order 3 days ahead ane last moment they inform me that item is out of stock, then I re-order another bunch of flowers, when the driver go to pick up that, that one also out of stock. After I complain also these items still showing in online store. Dont order anything online, they put you in troble.

There was a lot of stock that was out. There has been a Black Friday sale running which has brought in a lot of people but it's frustrating going to get regular items to find them out consistently (in this case it was certain colors of tshirts. The bead wall was also stripped down pretty bare). The self checkout was new to me and I didn't mind it, except I had forgotten to scan a coupon and had to wait quite awhile to fix it since there was only one person doing checkout. And when I did get there, a mistake was made and she refunded the wrong item, and she couldn't figure out the math to do it properly. I did say not to stress it and left because it wasn't worth the time to explain further. Staff were friendly, but hard to find when I needed help finding an item.

Michael's came in to Canada and pushed Craft Canada right out. Now they don't even want to pay to have Canadian's work there. Not cool Michael's. I boycott you. I WILL shop everywhere else. I can shop online for the customer service you provide today. Did I see a massive reduction in prices given your massive reduction in staff? I don't think so. Guess the big wigs at the top don't make enough money. More, more, more!! Take, take, take. Why don't you try giving a little to Canada for once??

Great place to get craft Works and other items especially during holiday times. I like to do woodworking projects and it’s a great place to get the little items that I need to help finish off a project.

It was worth waiting to be checked out by Steph! She's great.I only wish there were more humans to check people out. The robot tills are cold, unfriendly and just make me sad.

Michael’s craft store is getting a one star review because of corporate decisions. they have decided to go to self check out. Yes there is a staff worker and she is very helpful and friendly to assist us in doing her job. This is absolutely ludicrous Michael you’ve always been such a great store however this is a huge disappointment and I will look for other places to shop when possible.

It was ok. It was a little frustrating trying to get help at the cricut isle. I ended up helping two ladies with their questions while waiting for a CS rep to come help me (locked items). The help button had been pressed a few times by the other ladies, and someone did go to the front counter to ask for help. This was over a span of 25 min. It seemed a bit short staffed for a Friday, so maybe that was the reason?

Saw only three staff, one greeter, one unpacking boxes (we interrupted twice with questions) and one near the tills. They do not have cashiers! Was very disappointed. No wonder we were stuck walking to the other side of the store to find help. Greeter unable to answer questions. Not a positive experience. Will go to another outlet.

I was terribly disappointed today when I went to Michaels, South Common, Edmonton. Gone are the cashiers. They have been replaced by self-serve stations. In other words, they are putting profits ahead of people ...and ahead of loyalty towards their employees. Who needs these types of businesses? Also, I would like to make a second point. At these self-serve stations, they only accept credit cards and debit, not cash. That is very inconvenient even if you agree with using self-serve checkouts. These machines could easily accept cash and give change at the end of the transaction. So, who are they benefitting here??? Not people. And third, I wasn't even offered a bag to put my purchases into. I needed one and was willing to pay for one, but no bags in sight. In short, I would suggest shopping anywhere else. This place is not service friendly and with their willingness to go forward with technology, it will even be less service friendly in the future. Soon, they will be looking to get rid of all of their employees.

Michael's, can't say more than that. I haven't had any negative experiences at this store, the staff has always been helpful and friendly. Only gave it 4 stars because it is in South Common and I despise driving and parking in this area. Other than that, it's call the majority of your crafting needs and online pick ups

Called ahead to ask about their spray paint sale and how their shelves looked."They're great" no hesitation. Are you sure? I have to drive in and I'd rather not waste my time if your shelves are empty. Online doesn't give you a good idea for stock."You know other places sell spray paint hey" click.Get to the store, zero paint on sale there. No sales staff either. To get one can of paint took me over 30 min in store.Do yourself a favor and drive to the Tamarack location.

Went in to get a picture frame. They have sooooo many wonderful options. If none catch your eye they also have a option to make a custom frame! If you sign up with Micheals they'll let you know when the best deals are too!A lovely surprise buying a 11 x 14 frame for $7.55 today. The og price being nearly $12.Highly recommend too if you're look for heavy duty floating frames. I loved the huge one I got from here. And again not even over $50 like Amazon or other places sell them.

Today I had to run to Michaels at 99st ( South Edmonton Common) to buy a few items urgently. I reached out to the Cashier Wendy ( aka Wendy with a smile) to help me find the things I wanted. Wendy was very kind to advise me about the deals so that my shopping could be done efficiently by saving money ($) which was really great!! I highly recommend the Michaels and you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

Michaels is pretty disappointing these days. Good luck finding anyone to help you. Many shelves are empty or low on stock. It's not so much an art store as it is now a gimmicky homesense. Still one of the only good places for art supplies but prices are high and availability is sparse and thus location always reminds me of that
