M daughter was in the store was approached by manpreet the employee.
Manpreets service was rude and ignorant towards my daughter who wanted to hand in her resume because maybe holiday season my daughter wanted to work in Micheal’s but manpreet outright denied her resume along with telling her that she will not accept your resume and that Micheal’s not hiring. It’s absolutely ridiculous to not oven accept someone’s resume.
Even for future employment. If young Canadian born kids are seeking employment they need to be given a chance. This employee had absolutely no right to discriminate a young youth to her face. I will take this to your corporate and I want answers to this discrimination??!

I love this particular Michaels. Its always very clean and organized in such a nice way. In all its color coded glory! I can very easily find what I need here and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I love that they always have great sales when the seasons change.

My kids wanted heads to make bracelets. We had to ask staff since we found our way into the high end bead area.
Staff was friendly and helpful. We found what we needed and I bought a volcano for us to make later.

Michael's offers handicap parking stalls. There is a slant on the sidewalk to get up to the store and the doors open automatically. They do have a motorized cart if you have a hard time walking. Store is huge and has alot of stock in all areas. Isles are wide enough and clear. There is also clearance items in departments, just have to find them. Have Frame department and also do framing for you at a cost. Offer workshops in room off cash register.Good selection of whatever you may need. Jewelry, baskets, baking, scrapbooking, painting etc. If you have coupons from paper or signed up for email, you can use up to 2 per visit as long as you do separate transactions. Now I know! Awesome! Cashier very friendly, polite and professional. Store clean and organized.**UPDATE **UPDATE **UPDATE **Michael's in Tamarack Edmonton has added self serve checkouts. They are nice looking, fairly easy to use (I did ask for help first time) cashier is friendly and very helpful. They do have 1 register if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. Have a 50% off coupon until May 9th.Store is very clean, organized and staff friendly and helpful. Prices are still on high side but coupons help.Couldn't take photos - my phone was almost dead. Next time.

Went for pearl Amsterdam paint...though they didnt have what I was looking for I still wandered around the store to see what was new.
