Old Strathcona Farmers' Market is Edmonton’s original, indoor, year-round farmers’ market located in the heart of Old Strathcona. It is open every Saturday and Sunday. The market is small but full of great organic fruits, vegetables, and meats from around the area. A wide variety of local food, produce, artisans, homemade treats, bread, cool items, and gluten free products are available. It offers a wonderful vibe and is a warm place to visit, with helpful and friendly staff. While some find it a bit pricey, it is definitely worthwhile to take a walk-through. It is an awesome place with lots of fresh options and a great little market worth a peek.
