  I came in last week to sell and was really happy with my experience. A lot of items were chosen, and they paid decent for the items, especially compared to the north location. They were fast when they went through my bin, and they were friendly both on the phone calling in, while dropping off, and while picking up. I appreciate that the person sorting started almost immediately, she literally started sorting as soon as she got it while I was still in store. I’m surprised with the negative reviews, I found them really fair here.

  This particular Once Upon a Child is awesome! I totally get why they sometimes have to pass on items — they get so much clothing every single day and it makes sense that they can only buy the best of the best. It keeps the store clean, organized, and full of great finds for parents. I love to sell here the staff are always welcoming
  
  Also, fun fact: Once Upon a Child, Style Encore, and Plato’s Closet are all from the same company! It’s worth looking them up and seeing which store your clothes are best suited for when you’re selling. Each one focuses on different styles and age ranges, so you can get the best value for your items :)

  I sold some stuffs here the old lady is nice but not happy not providing me the detail receipt thar I ask for. The young lady said they can't provide after the transaction, sounds like its my fault.

  Greediest place I've had the displeasure of visiting.
  They wanted almost $60 for 2 pairs of used boots that weren't even close to looking new.
  Especially when they'll give you $2 for a pair of boots and turn around and charge $35 for them.
  
  I went over to goodwill and bought four pairs of snow pants and three pairs of boots for $66. And 2 of the pair look like new.
  Don't waste your hard earned money at this location.
  Go somewhere else where they value your money.

  The boots they claim they paid $30 for were stained and clearly used boots. There is no way they paid $30 for a pair of boots. So clearly this place is not only greedy, but the owner is clearly a liar too.
  Very sad and pathetic for a business that's supposed to help families and children.

  If you have clothing for children that is clean not worn out, and in new condition, you can take it here. Remove the clutter, and help others out at the same time.

  Came to drop off some clothes. Website states that you can walk in anytime without an appointment. Drove all the way there and they turned us away saying they have a sign on the door not taking any more drop offs for the day. Called the Sherwood Park location and they glady took our stuff. Glad it worked out but what a waste of time.
  
  Save yourself the hassle and just go to the Sherwood Park location.

  Store is small and very cluttered and disorganized and the staff is not very friendly and the other customers are entitled and rude to shop around. Did not enjoy my experience.

  Love this place however most of the staff are not friendly. I always show up feeling like I’m unwelcome and leave like I don’t know why I did the drive to look around

  Do you ever get such bad service your anger over takes and you need to leave a review? Thats how I feel every single time I shop here. The staff are so rude and short with you. The only staff member that is somewhat nice is the two old ladies. That’s all. Everyone who works here could definitely benefit from a lesson on customer service skills.

  I have been purchasing clothes for my kids for 8 years from here. All the items are in great condition and I'm able to find some of the high end brands (like Iviva) that I like.

  This store is better than most the other ones. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices here are great. Sales here very often and discounts. Good items barely used. Can sell things for very cheap here.
