Returned a tensioner pulley that was on sale but wouldn't give me the 20% discount on the water pump even though the sale was still on , when I said something about it cage told me he wasn't supposed to be at the counter he was on lunch , the store opens at 9am and lunch is at 11am !
* I think you should find a job that's not in customer service .

Used to have a good selection of products, but that's been greatly reduced in recent years. Average prices. Staff are hit or miss, ranging from excellent to sub-par. Overall though, worth including a part search you're making if they're near you.
Plus check their flyer for sales.

I bought an oil pan gasket, I didn't use it and decided to return it. I paid it in cash and they did not want to give me the refund in cash but to my debit card, I have no choice but to accept. The money will not be cashed into my account immediately and I will again have to pay taxes on that amount which I had previously paid taxes on. They are abusers!

The "Shift Leader" at part source is incredibly rude and prides herself on refusing any kind of good customer service.
SITUATION:
My husband bought 2 sets of tire covers and 1 was the wrong size. These are *not* expensive items.
He went back 2 days later to *exchange* for the right size and was told we absolutely needed the receipt for ALL returns OR exchanges.
She was very dismissive and seemed inconvenienced that he was even asking to do an outrageous thing like exchange a product for another that was the SAME PRICE and same sku#.
We went to the website to determine return policy (As their receipts say 'please see our website'). Upon going to website, we saw the following:
"Returns without the original receipt will be made at PartSource's discretion and at the lowest sale price during the last 90 days. "
So essentially, this employee decided she wanted to be rude and difficult because she didn't want to be inconvenience to actually do her job.
FAST FORWAR TO TODAY:
We FOUND THE RECEIPT and attempted to EXHANGE again...and she informed him that they were "no longer on sale", and that he would have to pay an additional $7.00 to get the correct size (Even though her inability to do her job previously was the reason we had to make another trip).
My husband opted to simply return the item and not give part source the sale because of this employees terrible customer service skills.
FYI - we've dealt with her one other time and she was equally unpleasant, and we were only purchasing something.
There *are* employees at this location who are competent and actually do the job (provide a service for customers) but if you have to deal with this person, wait in life for the next one.
Honestly we're so done with this ONE employee that we likely won't go to this location again.

The worst customer service I've had in a long time with part source.They don't know anything about nothing. They don't know what the parts are.And when you tell them the name or the part number, They still say they don't have them in stock, although if you go or call another part source, they're always available.

Extremely poor customer service. Melissa (Team Lead). Never lose your receipt even if it is 40 mins later, after given the wrong part. I will never ever go to part source again.

I came here to pick up something that I'd seen in the flyer. There was none on the Shelf but the lady behind the counter went to the back and found one for me. I left happy.
