This has always been my favourite place to get “stuffies” for my dog, Bubbles. Unfortunately the inventory is not what it used to be but that’s fine with me because this groomer, ASPEN, treated my dog with so much care and precision. My old groomer said my dog, a Papillon, Pom and Cocker spaniel, needed to be shaved right down to his skin every time because he just doesn’t “do well” with grooming. So I tried this groomer at Pet Planet and she groomed him entirely with just scissors. I told her to do whatever she had to do to get him through it (including shaving) and she looked horrified by the thought. She straight up said “I’m not in the business of just shaving dogs if they’re difficult. He clearly does not enjoy being groomed but I made sure to cut everything evenly.” I was SO happy to see him with at least 2 inches of hair still on him and he looked soooo perfect. He didn’t have to deal with feeling uncomfortable all shaved and naked feeling (he’s got VERY long shaggy hair with a Pom face and papillon ears). I meant to write this review ages ago and finally remembered that this woman deserves her shine. She explained to me how important cutting his nails were and that his back legs were off when he walked as his nails were way too long. I truly felt like she cared about him and he wasn’t just a dollar sign to her. I asked if I could bring him back to her and she happily agreed. GO ASPEN GO! Amazing at her job and very affordable for all that she did. I can’t thank her enough.

I like how they communicate between stores so if one doesn't have what I need they send me to a location that does. My dogs and I appreciate it.

We took our dog here for a groom and was very pleased with our experience! Aspen did an awesome job. She made sure she understood what we were looking for and we were so happy when we picked him up. The owner, Meghan, is wonderful. She is so knowledgeable and kind. Our dog is reactive and she was able to help schedule us in so he would be a solo groom and wouldn't run into any other dogs. We will be back! Thanks Meghan & Aspen!

Zero stars, the groomer did not understand how to properly groom fine hair, we are very meticulous in how we care for our pup. They chopped the hair unevenly, blamed our dog for being misbehaved(when we have only had rave reviews about how wonderful our pup is), she cracked our dogs nails when trimming them, and cut off her beautiful ponytail that we had been maintaining for years. This groomer is clearly over worked, when she promised she’d only be grooming one dog at a time upon picking our dog up we found out she was grooming multiple dogs at the same time. Do not go here. This groomer needs to be more careful with our pets, these types of mistakes can be very harmful for our pets, especially when you crack nails.
As for the response you did not offer to fix anything. We demanded you fix it and you told us you’d do it at a cost to us. We brush our pup diligently, there was not any matting on her head. This person does not understand fine cotton curtly hair. I will be telling everyone about our terrible experience and your worse response.
We found a new amazing groomer who fixed your butchered cut, they commented on how amazing our pup is and how she is not at all aggressive. She is the most tolerant loving creature and your groomer did something to her that will take a lot of training to undo.
Anyone who goes here has been warned.
It’s disappointing and disgusting that you feel you can justify poor behaviour and treatment of animals and poor customer service.

Aspen did such a wonderful job grooming our pup. Aspen and the other staff members are very knowledgeable and kind. They gave us a lot of advice and we felt zero judgement.
We are very happy to have found our new groomer.
