Clean and well organized store, we always like to visit the cats and other animals. Barb is absolutely wonderful - knowledgeable, kind, and patient with the many questions my kids had about the different pets.

I enjoy this petland so much! I love all the cute pets and interacting with the animals but I inquired for help for accesories for my my animal and found myself speaking with the store manager Terry . He was very uneducated, untrained and uninterested in further helping ,he then passed me to another employee who was extremely busy and also helping another customer. This employee put everything they had to do on hold just to unexpectedly help me… they thank goodness was able to help me find what I was needing and got me on my way!:) 5 stars to that HARD WORKING employee!!! BUT 0 stars for the lack of compassion and education of the manager.. ?♀️

Generally speaking I have a good experience at this store, however; a while back they sold a friend of mine a Chinese Cave gecko. This gecko was SO SMALL, it must have been damn near freshly out of the egg. Needless to say no one should’ve given them that animal to sell and they also should have never taken the animal and put it up for sale at such a young and vulnerable age. A Veterinarian confirmed this. Makes me question where/from who they are getting some of their reptiles. Cause for concern, absolutely. Not only was the gecko way too small, the worker told her that this species care was ‘the same’ as that of a LEOPARD GECKO- that was so wrong it’s not even funny. If she had blindly listened to the worker that poor animal would’ve been cooked to death in a desert animal environment when they do not do well in high heat and additionally require much much more humidity than a leopard gecko.So, fine spot for grabbing food and supplies but I Would Not recommend purchasing exotic/reptile pets from here (or any pet store tbh).Hoping there will be way more mindfulness of this sort of thing in the future.
