I recently canceled my membership and want to share my experience in a clear and professional manner.
Over time, I found that a significant amount of equipment was frequently broken or unavailable, which made it difficult to maintain a consistent workout routine. Staff interactions were inconsistent—some employees were professional and helpful, while others appeared moody or disengaged.
My primary reason for leaving, however, was an ongoing safety concern. On multiple occasions, there was a man in the women’s locker room who was pretending to be a woman and using the space to change. These repeated incidents made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Locker rooms are private spaces, and members should be able to use them without fear, confusion, or discomfort.
If the gym intends to allow this behavior, I strongly believe there should be a separate, clearly designated third locker room option—one for women, one for men, and one for individuals who do not fit within those categories. This would allow everyone to feel respected while still protecting the safety and privacy of women.
A gym should prioritize safety, comfort, and clear policies. Unfortunately, after experiencing these issues multiple times with no effective resolution, I no longer felt secure continuing my membership.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to clearer policies, better enforcement, and improved overall standards.

Great gym with clean equipment and a friendly environment. The machines are well maintained, and it’s never too crowded. Perfect place to work out and stay consistent.

Love this location! Planet Fitness staff are always phenomenal. This location is great for the layout and cleanliness. Love coming here.

It was very disappointing and rude to be spoken to the way we were by the front desk lady with glasses. We had already wiped our shoes properly, yet we were still singled out, even though the mat was already wet from snow tracked in by many other members, which is unavoidable in winter. What made the situation worse was the apparent selective behavior, as others in similar conditions were not addressed at all. We respect gym policies, but they should be enforced politely and consistently, not in a manner that feels unfair or disrespectful.

Staff are always moody and need an attitude adjustment. Had a chick make me take my shoes off and wave them around in front of her to make sure they were dry. Then made me walk to the paper towel machine to wipe them off while the floor was covered in mud and water. Had to work out with soaked socks. The entire workout I didn't see her do this to any other person. Then she got super aggressive when I confronted her about it.

It’s a great place to workout however change rooms smell like mold and shit and it would be nice if the hydro beds and the massage chairs were all working. I’m tired of coming here and they r always broken. Why should I have to pay that kind of money every month and have a black card if I can’t use the facilities that I pay for. Maybe hire a manager that actually fixes things and cares about clients. I’m a little disgusted by this. Happens way too often. And a staff member that works there really needs an attitude adjustment. Looked over at me and saw me and completely ignored me as I was asking for a hydro bed. Didn’t even bother to help me. Either fire her or go find a job where you’re not dealing with the public. Attitude adjustment highly recommended for that staff member.

I’ve been coming to this gym since it opened and absolutely love coming here. There is one thing I think needs continued maintenance on…..the cable towers NEED to be greased or something on a daily. I am part of the afternoon group and I find they are always sticking as the cables are being used. Which makes them hard to use without a struggle.

Great gym! I’ve been coming here since I moved to the neighbourhood. I love the warm, exciting atmosphere and how helpful the staff is.
Sometimes, I wish the gym were a bit bigger, but I understand that smaller gyms are part of Planet Fitness’s strategy. I wouldn’t mind having a few more squat racks, though, and possibly some heavier curl bars.

I have been using this gym for the last year and I have no plans of moving. Not too busy, clean, the right amount of equipment and a variety of fitness levels.
