Probably the cutest baby and toddler clothes you will find anywhere in the city. Worth a visit if you have a little one to shop for, or know someone else who does! They also sell some really neat antiques.

What a fun and interesting store! Everytime you turn around you will find another surprise; a gallery of beautiful merchandise, much of which is produced locally.

I had been a long-time customer and supporter of Plum H&D. I love that it is women-run, mother-daughter owned, local and unique. I love shopping at Plum H&D however, the last few interactions that I have had in store have left me feeling like I can no longer shop here. I was treated unfairly, heavily watched and even followed around the 200 or so sqft store, repeatedly asked if I needed assistance although I had declined not even 1 or 2 minutes prior... Microaggressions that do not go unnoticed in this brown skin. I am proud to be Indigenous, I am proud of who I am and I will never allow someone to treat me differently because of how I look or who my ancestors are. I will speak up when someone has treated me wrong and I will never stay silent. There is room to grow at Plum and I hope this can be your push to learn more about Indigenous people. Hire BIPOC people. And with that, I trust that you will do your own further research and take the proper steps to make sure no one feels like they cannot shop at Plum because of they way they look/ who they are.I was upset when I wrote my initial review and later corrected it with a more clear mind. But I was initially upset because this happens far too often in stores that are predominately 'white.' If that hurts your feelings then that should be a signal to you to dig deeper. Ekosi.

The Plum store is a great place to shop local. The staff are always super helpful. There is a great mix of local, Canadian, and vintage goods. If you're looking for a great gift, I often check here first.

Don’t shop here if you’re not apart of the ‘majority’ *wink*wink* I’m always followed around the store and asked multiple times if I need help even though the square footage doesn’t require a staff member to tend to a single customer that many times in 5 minutes. I began shopping online to avoid the awkwardness of being brown and wanting to shop in a predominantly white area/ market. I’m not doing that anymore, it’s 2022. Hire brown people. Talk to more brown people. Be nice to brown people. And finally, have some dignity and self respect and address your obvious racist bias. I’ll happily take my business somewhere else. And I won’t hesitate to call it out. I won’t stand for it anymore. Racism is not okay.

Plum is one of Edmonton’s secret gems! The store is curated with the best items for your home and family. I always find the best gifts and treasures for our home. I feel so valued as a customer- the community that Plum brings to the city is the essence of what makes Edmonton so special. If you haven’t been, it’s a must! Thanks

Plum is a local treasure. They have so many amazing things in store and online from both local vendors and imported antiques. Each time I have been in the store is a real treat to explore and plan decor for our home. Great team and service as well.

This beautiful store is such a treat to visit, it’s elegant with so many gorgeous finds! The staff is so friendly and helpful- you will never want to leave! So unfortunate to see people writing negative reviews on their return policy when they have one that is more than fair especially for an independent store. Support local!

Very disappointed in the customer service and exchange policy. I received a few items as gifts from PLUM and was given a gift receipt. I went in to exchange them a couple days after receiving these items and was informed that I was not able to exchange them since it had been more than 30 days since they were purchased. This information was not found on the receipt nor is it found under their return policy on their website. I was informed that they purchaser was told when buying these gifts, however how am I to know this information? It should not be expect to be relayed by word of mouth alone. It doesn't make sense that I cannot exchange items with a gift receipt, there is no loss of money to the store.

If you have a gift receipt for something purchased at the store you should be able to exchange it no matter what the timeline. A 30 day gift receipt return policy is absolutely ridiculous especially when this is not indicated anywhere on the receipt or on the website, and you have no control over when the gift is given to you. The store is out of the way already so going all the way there to exchange something and being told that you can’t is a very frustrating experience, and the dismissive way the exchange request was treated by the staff doubled the frustration. Never heard of this store until a friend bought a gift for us, and I’m never going back.
