The manager Marlene (I am assuming that is her position and name based on my receipt) made our shopping experience SO unpleasant! She treats her employees like garbage and is constantly yelling out obnoxious things while customers are in there. She really needs to read the room because every single one of us inside the store were so annoyed with her and you could see it on everyone's face. She was unknowledgeable about the products, rude to her employees and continuously yelling out at me about receiving an email during my checkout while she was not even the person at the cash register helping us!! I will never go back here again while this atrocious lady works here.

One of the best showroom in Edmonton with good staff and friendly atmosphere. Sometimes gets better deal, pretty sure you get value of which we pay .. quality is better..

Drove all the way from the North side of edmonton to this Roots outlet in South common. Arrived at 6:05 and store is closed. Website, staff and even sign on door says open until 7pm but store is dark and locked up. No sign on doors saying anything as to why.I am sick of this stuff happening all the time now. Businesses wonder why people turn to Amazon, Walmart and other big box stores; the answer is convenience and reliability. I can't even shop most of my local mom and pop stores as I work until at least 5 everyday and they all close early.Sad.

Sales stuff is beyond annoying! Was looking for gifts for my family... this takes time, you know and asking me countless times if I found what I was looking for... I was browsing, making decisions on what was on sale. At the cashier table two girls had to ring up my sale, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Not happy with the customer service....after I entered the store and started browsing through the clothes, while also taking pictures...the store agent asked me to stop. Told me that taking pictures is not allowed in the store.No sign posted indicating that it's not allowed.Anyway the selection is also not that great.

I've been on a quest for the past 2 weeks to find a new pair of lined, black, leather gloves. I usually wait for an "end of the season" sale at The Bay or Mark's Work Wearhouse, but I guess I left it too late. I've been running around from store to store with no luck. I decided to try Roots since it was close. I asked the clerk if there were any leather gloves. She said, "One left". Would you believe they were made exactly for my short, stubby hands? The only problem was the price. $88.00 Yikes. Not on sale. Ugh. I had to take them. They are beautiful. The cash-out procedure is the usual annoying thing. We need your email, we will spam you forever.... Very nice staff. The store is so clean and organized. Much nicer than the one on Whyte Ave. Of course the parking is better too. Sanitation station by the front door.
