The place is alright, but the security guard needs to check himself; buddy likes to power-trip. Today was the second time my wife came home and told me he accused her of stealing. The first time he even made her dump out her bag (spoiler alert: she didn’t steal anything either time).
Really poor treatment of customers, and I guarantee even if we come here again we’re not accepting a third round of harassment…

lady behind at the till asked if I was pregnant, when I replied no she exclaimed “Oh sorry you just have a really big belly!” In what world is that okay to say to someone??

Today I was out for a walk with my 83 year old dad and decided to get a bottle of wine for dinner. He jokingly told the cashier that he wasn't old enough to buy wine. Because we were just out for a walk and only had our bank cards she REFUSED to sell him the bottle of wine! SERIOUSLY WHAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT??? I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! This is how you treat people, especially seniors?? SHAME ON YOU!!!

I was denied entry because I was on my mobility scooter.I had a total ankle replacement on June 14th of 2023, I wear a plastic boot to immobilize my left foot, it's huge and Grey, you've probably seen alot of them on people.I bought the scooter so I can load it into my car by myself. It's so convenient.I've had no problem going to grocery stores, clothing or restaurants. Why did they say I can't come into Safeway Liquor?I held up my foot and said " how am I supposed to walk ?"Very disapointed with the big security guard and the big lady that stood there and laid their law on me.I'm so surprised.Cheers!
