Saw my Dr yesterday( Wednesday ) and my prescription was faxed to the pharmacy yesterday at roughly 1 pm
Followed up yesterday afternoon to confirm that they got it and discussed with them that I’d like to pick my prescription today after work (Thursday @6pm )
Followed up this afternoon at roughly 2:30 pm and was assured all was good.
Get there at 6:10 pm today to pick up my order and was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait?
1.5 business days to fill a prescription that I’ve been getting there for roughly 3 years
Today was the final straw - I got the self entitled “stink eyed “ look from Jackie the pharmacist like I’m not worthy of her time
Tomorrow I will be asking for the store manager and confront this woman and her shitty attitude
Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE !

Amazing place. Been going here for two and a half years and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about their items!! Very easygoing and kind people who always greet with a smile on their face :)

Terrible service picking up my prescription. Their response to lost medication is to just not take it, then they proceed to lose my prescription and hang up on me when I called to ask about it. They managed to get me my prescription in the end so I guess they make the description of a pharmacy but the customer service is so terrible I highly recommend you avoid!!!!

All employees are cordial and helpful.The pharmacy of which I have been getting all my many drugs since 2008, is very interested in me as a patient and my drugs are always on time. They are very helpful in filling rush orders that I sometimes have. Hats off to the Unity Square Safeway.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been too! Went in to fill 3 prescriptions, she told me 40 min wait, I was on my lunch and assumed it would take 20 min like most pharmacies. I then said just the one prescription, I'll come back for the other. She said 30 min. I ended up waiting over 45 minutes. The lady said I would receive a text when it was ready. I went in 15 min early and stood there and waited and then finally I asked if it was ready and it was sitting there ready the whole time. I got the text when I got back to the office. 2 weeks later, I sent my co worker to pick up the rest and I called in the morning and told them. When she got there 2 hours later, they said no note was on file. The staff are not pleasant and there is a ton of them working so no idea why it takes so long. I will never go to this pharmacy again. Save yourself time and headache, go to the shoppers or london drugs near by.

I am not one tk say much but this was something j felt needed to be said. I was at this Safeway the other day. I was in line amd ahead of me was an elderly woman I would guess 75-80. As she went through the male cashier asked her if she wanted him to bag her items. She told him yes amd she was pushing a walker that she wanted her groceries in. As she paid she asked the cashier to please put the bags in her walker. He stood ghee starring at her again handing her the bag. 3 times she asked for the cashiers help and he wouldn't. I actually had tears thinking is this the way our seniors are treated I was in complete disgust. I said to the cashier pls hand me her bags I will put yhem in for her. He looked at me with a black stare. Again but thus time with a little more aggression I said hard me her bags so I can help her! Ok so I was a bit angry at this point. I did load her groceit's but again I ask is this what it's coming to we no longer help our elderly ppl? I always will but obviously the cashier at safeway can't be bothered amd that makes mesick inside. I'll never go back to that store. Save on foods all the way they treat everyone with respect and the staff are friendly and helpful they would never do that. Save on foods 109 and jasper I feel like home when I walk in there amd will co tinge to get my business. Thank you for reading and pls if you sew a senior that needs a little help take 2 mins and help them we all have 2 mins to spare for the ppl that we all will be one day. Pls

Bought lunch today from Oliver/Unity Square location - disgusting, this mess was supposed to be ginger beef, whoever would think this is ginger beef is deluded - most of this was inedible - fatty, gristly, chewy with no flavor.I go to this store a lot because I work downtown, but this is just horrible!

All the other workers and pharmacists, Sam, Rose, Mercedes, and Hannah are wonderful and kind. Jackie however, both times I've asked to speak about medications, has been completely judgemental, rude, and dismissive.Today was the last straw when I called inquiring about side effects of coming off a medication that requires being tapered down. Her response? "We already talked about this in March", yes. We talked about side effects of being on the medication, and not all the symptoms of coming off of it, to where you asked me why I havent stopped the meds yet.... I'm not calling to be judged I'm calling to ask a question. Your job as a pharmacist is to answer inquiries about medications, (this is an antidepressant I'm talking about. Not a controlled substance), not to judge and lecture people.The first time we discussed this medication was about rx extensions despite it being my second time in months asking and for a medication extension (I had run out and my doctor was not in) I'm clearly not abusing, to which you literally felt the need to lecture me on why I needed an extension, despite this being a medication that you cannot just stop taking because you will get flu like withdrawal symptoms.My question I had today was completely unrelated to what we priorly discussed. Her tone, the fact she came off as judgemental, puts me off from ever speaking to her. As a former healthcare worker myself, I'm appalled by her attitude that whenever I have asked questions she is very judgemental and literally lectures me. Your job as a pharmacist is to supply information about medications and questions regarding those medications, not judge and lecture people about why they havent stopped yet. Again, this is an antidepressant I'm talking about. Not a benzo, not opiods, not amphetamines, ANTIDEPRESSANTS fgs.Called another safeway pharmacy and the pharmacist was completely pleasant and willing to answer the question I had which was regarding blood glucose levels.Rude, self-entitled, judgemental character. Unfortunately she's the manager too.What a terrible person.

September 19, 2022Picked up my prescription and as always Mercedes is always cheery sbd pleasant yo talk to.July 2022As always, the pharmacy assistants are always happy and helpful to serve my meds refill. I phone for last minute refill or I order my refill through their phone automation.March 2022I want to let Rose and Mercedes, your pharmacy assistants to know that I'm so impressed with their customer service skills and it's always a delight being served by both of them on so many occasions.Furthermore, a big appreciation goes to Hanna as well, your pharmacist who's always approachable with my medical needs.As a result, your pharmacy has earned my 5 ☆ rating!July 2021This is where I get my prescription refills.Majority of the time, staff are helpful and friendly.

* Clean* Helpful staff* Fresh produce* Lots of parking* Flower shop* Starbucks located inside* Daily kitchen for lunch and fast meal options.* Clean restrooms* Good selection of groceries. Asian aisle has a good variety of sauces such as oyster, mirin, curries and so forth.
