Natalia from the premium meat department at Safeway Riverbend is absolutely wonderful. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and always happy to help with great recommendations. Never any cashiers
I don't wish to use self checkout
Fruits are often spoiled and over priced. Literally food going rotten and just being wasted. Allll the time.
I have pictures to prove it. From different days.

It’s a Safeway you get what you get BUT the prices at this specific one are higher than everywhere else in the city. They also changed their system so now you can’t see original prices on “sale” items. 90% of the time they aren’t even on “sale” they just post that they are.
Boooo Safeway on the southside. Do better.

High prices, but starting to get it to stock more Canadian made stuff, still kinda suck at it. Hot mustard is made in Canada but they only have US, etc. Still slowly changing.

One star is too much for this location specially for the flower section that they are so rude with customers who is buying flower at afternoon and no one is to doing anything for flowers, if you don’t want to sell the flowers at evening or afternoon you should close that area or put someone to help the customers

They've increased their prices AGAIN! Safeway doesn't carry things like broccolini, collard greens, Lyndsay olives..I mean come on. Good bread 6.99.. shit bread 3.98.

I have purchased bread from Safeway’s bakery several times, but the quality has been very disappointing. In particular, the French baguette was not properly baked — the inside seemed undercooked, and the bread split open from both ends. I hope more attention will be given to the baking process, as customers expect fresh and good-quality bread.
