Opened a new account and direct withdrawals came in so quick before money was ever deposited. Caused a headache because the bank never contacted me. Then they froze the account even as my paycheque was deposited. Money was there but withdrawals continued to bounce because of they froze the account. What a gong show. I never complain. Not in my nature. But this place? Wow. The worst. Now I understand why they rank so low in the ratings! I wish I could go lower than one star.

Worst scotiabank location ever. First of all, they never have enough people to serve people. It took me one hour in this bank to get help. Later, when I wanted to operate my safety box, I was denied to access it because someone was already in there accessing and they were closing soon.

One of the worst locations in the city. The ATM machines are alway out of order or no cash in the machine. And the management teams acts and smiles as if everything is normal. Grow up please !

I've gone to deposit cash after hours the last two days and there were no envelopes at the ABM, just trash. The same trash yesterday as was there the day before so they're obviously neglecting part of their ABM duties. Rather than another wasted trip, I tried to call the branch to ensure there would be envelopes available for deposits after hours, but there is no way to contact the actual branch unless you know the extension or the first/last name of someone at the branch. I hate walking around and taking transit with that much cash. When I used to work at Scotia (different branch), we emptied the trash and restocked the envelopes EVERY day.

I have been trying to open an account for more than a month and here waiting for them to call for the appointment, the bank does not provide adequate service, they lack customer service, how terrible it is to feel mistreated without a single word because of the attitude of their tellers

Giving 1 as 0 is not an option here. Extension number doesn’t work ever. I’m stuck in the same situation since the last 2 weeks. The branch says call customer care and the customer service representative says go to the branch. In the end, turns out it was the branch. Now they gave me an extension number of an employee who is out of office.

Had a scheduled appointment for noon with Haman Mahal. Came ten minutes before. She got us at 1220 and said there was another person who came mistakenly today for an appointment next week. She entertained them before us which confused us. We asked her this doesn't even make sense. Why not just tell her/him to wait or comeback next week. She apologized but what else can she do. Our time is valuable. Half an hour is long when you have other things to do. Be better

The tellers are too rude, and doesn't know what they are doing. I think they are not even trained for the job. Service is too bad, never visit this branch.

This 1 star is not for the branch, it is for the lady who doesn’t wanted to help and advised us to go to another branch.
I was here to join my existing account with my brother, we stood in queue for about 15-20 minutes, we both had to go for our respective jobs. Our turn came and the lady said this gonna take a while and the queue is long and advised us to go to another branch. We told her that we don’t have much time right now to go to another branch but she straight away said “I can’t help, it will take long and other people are waiting in the queue”
We left without arguing or wasting our time, and went to the heritage branch (23rd ave) and these guys did it in 10 minutes.
