Called in earlier today asking if they had a birthday gift in stock.. they did not answer my question and rudely proceeded to ask me when my birthday was instead. The lady told me they would not honour my free birthday gift because my birthday has passed the 2 weeks. When I called the Southgate Sephora location, they were very nice and answered all my questions, they told me of course they would still honor my free birthday gift it’s no big deal for the Southgate location. Never going back to South common location again.

Abeer is amazing!! She was very knowledgeable and polite when helping my boyfriend and myself. Her makeup was also flawless and she made me feel so welcome to come back which is not something I can say for other Sephora stores. Would give 10 stars if i could!!

I don’t usually care to write reviews, but as a loyal customer to this location, as well as someone who spends significant amounts of money here (rouge member), it’s hard to see the quality of service deteriorating at this location. I visited this location on Thursday, October 6th (around 5:00pm), and multiple times within the months prior. Despite having numerous sales associates on the floor, it was hard to get assistance. When I managed to, the associate insisted on stopping and spraying herself down in perfume before coming towards me to help. I had asked her with help seeing if there was more stock for a matte eye liner I was looking for. It seemed as though she was struggling to help and was confused with my question. Once she opened the drawers below she told me that it was not in stock. In the past, I’ve had more helpful employees offer to search their available stock from their phones, but had to request her to do this. She then told me the Lancôme eyeliner I was looking for was only available online. Perhaps it was sold out in store, but there was a tester on the floor for the product I was looking for, and I had purchased it a few weeks prior, so I know it’s not an online only product. I asked her if she had any recommendations for a similar product, to which she said that it’s a good quality product and there are not other products of the same quality, so no. I strolled one aisle over and found a Huda liner that is essentially the exact same. It seems as though the associates at this location are just in general less knowledgeable in regards to the products lately. I got the sense that she just couldn’t think of a basic matte liner suggestion, so she just said no. I’ve had a number of similar experiences at this location lately. I was told that the house of lashes glue was only available online in August at this location. I was at the Southgate location a few days later and asked about the HL glue, and the sales associate was surprised that someone told me that, as they had a massive stock of it. Overall, it seems as though better vetting needs to be done with hiring. The cashier was great, and previously I’ve had wonderful experiences at this location, but the service has been noticeably declining over the past few months.

Amazing experience shopping here today. Associate named Jass was very polite , friendly , and dealing with me with lots of patience and gave the best customer service. Will recommend everyone ask for jass if u need help to shop for your makeup she is amazing .

I was in the store today and I was ignored by all but one of the associates. I was walked by and only one floor associate asked me if I needed help. I had my items and there was two cashiers were there. Once I was waiting the second cashier left (white girl who was wearing a mask). She went to help another customer on the floor. She could helped me. I had worked as a cashier for 15 years I was taught that if there is still customers in a line you help them and once the line (when people are no longer in the line) you can go. I havent been in this store in a while. I usually have good customer service. The greeter didn't say hi or "welcome to Sephora" the customers just walked by her. She wasnt busy at all. She had what looked like black leather or fake leather pants.The cashier who help me was friendly and the one floor associate who offered to help were nice, but I found the other associates were rude. A friend or a co-worker came into the store and one or two girls went to help her or talk/hang out with her. There was alot of perfumes on the shelves and a couple bottles were empty. It is a shame I will not be going to this store again as the really poor customer service has turned me off from this store, which is another shame since this one is the closest to me. I have read comments from other customers that there are rude and racist employees there. I think your employees need more training in serving/helping customers. I was so upset when I left the store.

I went in there today in the afternoon to purchase some items, usually the service is great but lately I feel like the employees that work there especially the East Indian ones are very rude , don’t know a lot of product knowledge and there makeup looks so old school , I don’t t appreciate shopping in a place we’re they speak their language in front of customers, it’s sounds rude, I realize they all hook each other jobs because a while Back this place had well put together employees always eager to help you as soon as you walk through the door now their greeter stands there with a group all speaking their language either Hindi or Punjabi.It’s sad to see such low degraded service me and I’m sure other customers receive at this location!!

I walked in looking for a new and improved skincare routine, I was helped here and there, but Noor really took the time to explain the products to me and address my skincare concerns. She also did a skin scan? With this new device it was so cool I’ve never had an experience like this before! I’ve been using the products she suggested for a couple weeks now and my skin has improved greatly! I will be coming back and hope to be helped by her again!

Absolutely lovely experience, ? the staff were super friendly, especially the person who attended to me.She was so knowledgeable and patient, and she took her time to make samples of a few things for me (ps I love them). I'd be getting one soon.I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone

This Sephora always has lots of employees but everytime I go here, there is not someone available to help me.Last time I came I asked the greeter if someone could help me find a concealer and she said someone will be right with me in a few minutes. I stood around the front of the store waiting for someone to help me. And eventually I had been standing there for over 25 minutes.Someone finally came to help me but when she took the scans of my skin tone on my face, the device was all dirty and gross. I really hope they will sanitize that in-between each person in the future...The employee was in the middle of helping me and suddenly she just walked away to another customer on the other side of the store and never came back.I left the store with no concealer.

Did not have a good experience as cashier was unfriendly, snobbish and had the attitude. The line was not even long to put her in a bad mood. She was just being a b*. Other staff was friendly but her.

My experiences: This location has the worst customer service. I have decided to stop coming here altogether because literally every single visit no one is helpful. When I did ask for assistance, they were stand-offish & not knowledgeable. Unfortunately, these were not isolated incidents, this has been over the last 7 months. Hopefully this stores staff will be coached on proper customer service etiquette.

The product I was looking for was well stocked this time. However, when I asked about a product not there, I was told it was online only, which is fine as there are other products that also require online only. In the past, the girls have always asked if they could order it for me, and I always have them do it. This girl was rude and didn't offer to order it and blatantly said it was not her job and I had to do it myself. I'll keep going to Sephora, but it won't becsoon and probably a different location.

Erin was wonderful! She provided me with helpful information picking new hair care products. I feel very confident with my purchase and would come see her again in the future!
