Last week, I bought whole wheat bread at $5 each, and I lost $6 on 12 of them. I prefer Sadaqat Super Market.

Great selection of Iranian brands, their stock of products are not consistent. Some shipments get delayed, so keep that in mind when stocking up.
The personnel are pretty polite, but when I asked them to check their inventory for 3 or 4 different products, they didn’t take the time.
Nonetheless, I guess it’s a pretty decent choice in Edmonton. I have been to Iranian grocery stores in different cities which are incomparable to this one, first of all I don’t think this store identifies as an Iranian supermarket, I may be wrong, Second the Iranian diaspora population in the other cities are much larger and create a bigger demand.
I think it’s worth stopping by once and judging on your own. I am quite neutral to them.
I think the barbari bread they have is very tasty.

Horrible Experience - Stay Away!
I can’t believe the nightmare we went through at this place. First off, they are selling illegal products—yes, illegal! We unknowingly bought one of their expired items, and while baking it, we discovered the product was expired! Completely disgusted, we went back the next day to resolve this and confront them, hopefully get our money back.
Instead of any sort of apology or professionalism, the employee called out the owner, who was unbelievably rude and aggressive. Instead of taking responsibility for selling illegal, expired products, the owner started blaming us and speaking to us in a harsh, raspy voice. It was clear they had no intention of giving us our money back and showed zero ethics in handling the situation.
This place is not only unprofessional but clearly dangerous, selling things they shouldn’t. Avoid this place at all costs—you deserve better, and so does your health.

Always check your receipts. They put wrong prices. It’s happened to me 3 times so far.
Prices are also higher than other places. I recommend Sedaqat store on 99 street

I bought 5 liter sesame oil from this store.
When I got home opened it and tasted the oil wasn't sesame oil.
I called the store talk to them they told me I don't know know what sesame oil is and I was lying ( I was born and raised in a country considered one of the big producer's of sesame oil) so I know sesame. I dealt with the store in Calgary for few years never had any issues with them.
They say they know God but clearly they don't fear him.

Horrible rotten bad meat product. Felt sick and vomitting after eating. Filed complaint to Alberta health and safety. Risk your health by buying their meat product. When talked to the management, they said I did something wrong and did not know to cook it.

Their Afghani bread is super. Lots of other food options as well but we visit this store mainly for the bread. Worth visiting to shop for ethnic food choices!

Bread at Shaeen is fluffy and soft. The golden-brown crust and smooth, white interior adds to its appeal. They also offer variety of grocery itema and snacks.

It appeared to be open on Google Maps, but when we went there we saw that it was closed for the holiday. Unfortunately, we have come a long way in vain….
