My family have been loyal Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy customers for more than 25 years. We moved to Edmonton 5 years ago & tried a couple Shoppers Pharmacies but since we require compounding Terra Losa became our Pharmacy. I recently was prescribed Ozempic for "pre-diabetic weight loss". Due to drug shortages my 1st prescription was filled at Costco (1st ever prescription not filled at Shoppers!) my prescription was for a 0.25ml dose for 4 weeks, then 0.5ml for 4 weeks & then 1 ml. I received the dose pen that contained 4mg & the Pharmacist coached me on how to administer the correct dose. The dose pen cost was $230 for 4mg at Costco Pharmacy. I just went to My Terra Losa Shoppers Pharmacy for my 1st refill & was given a 2mg pen for $250. When I asked the Shoppers Pharmacist why my cost went from $57.50 per ml to $125 per ml I was told that this was the manufacturers cost & that my doctors prescription stated that I required 0.25ml & 0.5ml doses, so I had to get the smaller pen at the higher cost. I asked to change the pen from the smaller dose pen to the larger dose pen like I had received from Costco & I was told they could not exchange the product. I am extremely disappointed that MY pharmacy/pharmacist didn't inform me about the cost difference of $67.50 per mg when she was aware that I have no medical coverage for this drug & am required to cover the costs myself. I understood that if you are loyal to a pharmacist/pharmacy they would look out for their loyal clients best interest but I guess this is not the case at Shoppers Drug Mart Terra Losa.

If you enjoy pharmacies loosing your prescription then this is the perfect place for you!Dropped off a prescription and was told to come back in an hour. I came back an hour and a half later and they had lost it. Have been waiting for over 20 minutes at this point for them to find it.

My wife came to get some medicine at 2:40PM and said it will be ready after one hour. I am waiting for almost two hours but still asking wait five minutes more. I am writing this from my car, outside the pharmacy. A lady called Nancy was angry on my daughter because she asked for bubblegum flavored medicine. Nancy says, all flavors are fruity and you must like all of them. It is not correct way of talking to a child. Neither our time nor low ratings are important for you guys. I encourage everyone not to buy from you with pathetic management and customer support.

I am giving a one because it doesn’t allow me to give zero! They are so slow. Incredibly slow. They tell you 45 min be prepared for them to be late. Over and over multiple times - they say “oh we’re just really busy” that’s the excuse everyday and today there was 3 people in the entire store. Absolutely zero excuse. If you need emergency medicine do yourself a favour and do not go here !

Pharmacy is slow, inexperienced, incompetent and I have been misinformed more then once. Once or twice is no issue but this has been ongoing for years unfortunately, I doubt its the staff's fault but the owners / management. Recommend anywhere else.

The worst pharmacy and store experience! Bought a $50 behind the counter product based on pharmacist recommendation. Found out the product was contraindicated and tried to return unused & unopened. The system did not email me a receipt so I'm told there is nothing they can do. DO NOT trust your receipt will be emailed or that you will get appropriate advice here. I'm transferring out ALL my Rx and no more beauty boutique purchases here!

I just asked an associate where I could find the hairspray glitter and was informed “ we do not live in the 90’s anymore they don’t make that anymore” and was instructed to go to the dollar store. I am very disappointed with this associate and the response I received with this. Perhaps stating shoppers don’t carry this product would have been approach. I hope shopper sees this as a teaching moment as working in cosmetics to help people people feel beautiful but shame them. I guess the dollar store and setting with hairspray will have to do for the wedding.

Terrible visit for me and my boyfriend. My boyfriend was being followed through every single isle by security while he was waiting for me to finish shopping. It was making us very uncomfortable, we shop at this location very often and have never stolen a single thing. My bf simply asked me why the man kept following him and the man overheard and gave him attitude saying “it’s my job, it’s my job” it’s your job to make customers feel uncomfortable and like they can’t shop in the store? And target people with no valid reason? He even followed us to the check out as I was paying (my boyfriend didn’t even buy anything might I add, he was going to purchase a cologne but chose not to because of the treatment we got). Me and my bf never steal from this shoppers and gave the security no reason to think we were going to. Extremely unprofessional.

went in to buy pasta noodles with my little brother and were followed almost immediately and were very disappointed, my brother and i would never steal and have every reason to believe there’s other reasons at bay, i started recording and he immediately went around the corner and felt so disgusted i had to leave. terrible shoppers don’t go!! the only nice respectable workers are the cashiers.

I’m worried for our future generation lol, I stopped at shoppers just in case first instead of going farther to Walmart, shoppers does carry some electronics so I thought give it a shot, I asked a young lady that works there if they carry Ethernet cable and she did not have a clue what that was, she directs me to the lady behind counter I asked and she had no clue what a Ethernet cable was either, I asked if they carry power bar cords she was stumped ?????

my daughter and her friend told me how the security guard was following them around the whole store which is absolutely mad!! They said as soon as they walked into the store the security guard followed them and my daughter said she was clearly holding her wallet in her hand and even pulled out money infront of him so he can understand they werent trying to take anything but he continued to follow. They felt so uncomfortable wherever they went they didnt even buy what they wanted because they felt pressured to leave. They said the guard kept following them and looking at them even when they went to go pay and he made it so obvious standing there and staring at them. They did not have a nice shopping experience. The guards need to stop following teenagers around and realize adults can shoplift also!! Everywhere they went he was right behind them or just standing there looking at them which made them so uncomfortable. The description of the guard was he had a cap and was wearing it backwards. This store needs to stop judging teenagers based on there looks and stop making them uncomfy. im a local costumer at this shoppers but if my young daughter and her friend gets profiled again i will do something about it.

Very poor customer service.I left some of my items at a self check out, clearly error on my part. Called in to see if it is still there. Whoever answered said “we don’t have it here” and hung up(!). It did not feel right, as there is no way you could determine that so quickly.. I decided to go in person and sure enough, my purchase was there,behind the counter.Though I am grateful I was able to retrieve it, the whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. No customer likes to be dismissed or being hang up on when trying to get help. There is also a little more to the story… but I digress.This location is one star for me -“No thank you”.

Terrible pharmacy experience every time. It's always a minimum 2 hours for any prescription. Taking our business elsewhere.
