Easily the best location i think in the entire city, staff are not only upbeat but friendly & always willing to help. I honeslty think what separates this location from the rest is how much they tend to do for the community, that surrounds them as far as I'm aware they do a lot of donation among other things which is great for anyone in need. This is def an 5 star rating more than deserving bravo to you all keep up the great work.

I like that they have some deals, and the Scene card is useful for saving money too. I like that the card is accepted at Safeway and Freshco too. Something I think needs rethinking is the advertising so•be•it seems like you have no choice in going to this grocery store, or that you have no choice in the selection or price or something!
How come Sobeys clerk never seem to offer to bag my groceries, and even push my groceries over so that the next customer gets more room! I’ve shopped at the Safeway Manning Crossing and they will almost always offer to bag my groceries, and have no problem with using my own cloth bags. Even the customer after me at Sobeys Belmont asked for paper bags and was automatically provided this service of bagging his groceries, it’s like I’m being punished for bringing my own cloth bags that I reuse.
I know that the grocery store has gotten their roof replaced and is going through some sort of rearranging of the items on the shelves probably to make things better, the store is very clean and the shelves, coolers and other appliances are all in tip top shape. So why is the area outside of the front doors, around the corner walking east seems to be so dirty and messy with a half rusted out cover plate on the brick wall and a electrical outlet that has no outdoor weatherproof duplex electrical box cover?

I don’t frequent Sobeys that much anymore because the prices are outrageous. I asked my husband to pick up “panache” Broccoli cheddar soup. It’s terrible. The pieces are so white they look like cauliflower. They must be the stems of the broccoli. Barely at visible Florette. He also picked up two stuffing rolls which are used to love. The pastry on these were so pale, flavorless and dry. I took one bite and said nope not the same.☹️Sad.

Easily the best groceries store in Edmonton, the place has a very welcoming atmosphere and is almost never dirty, the store is very well organized and easy to find what you need. The staff are always kind and smiling and making the store a better place, the bathrooms are kept in fair condition but you have to ask customer service for a key to use it. Overall this is at the top of my list of best stores in Edmonton and I highly recommend it

Belmont sobeys is the small town feel grocery store, where the minute you walk in you feel like family and they know your name. Great selection of speciality items/food are always being brought in. As well jerry the owner is very active within the northside community nourishing local families and brightening the future for northside kids by countless hours within community events. Belmont sobeys is like the community hub for clareview. Everyone from mgmt down to cashiers, custodians, kitchen, deli, etc kudos to the awesome ? work you guys are doing and keep going strong for many years to come.

My fav sobeys. Everything is fresh staff is awsome. And they have quiet time shopping after 8. Low lights and low music. Great experience. Need a second handicapped cart though
