In early August 2024, I bought out my Q3, expecting to receive my lien release letter immediately. However, I have not received it, and Southgate Audi did not provide any timeline for when I would get it. When I contacted their brand loyalty manager at the end of August, I was told it would take several weeks. I had already informed them of my address change during the buyout, yet the manager stated they couldn’t assist me and directed me to contact Audi myself. I’ve never encountered such a situation; I assumed the dealer would handle this process or at least provide information. It is incredibly irresponsible to expect me to follow up with Audi on my own.
After contacting Audi, I received my lien release letter very quickly—much faster than the “several weeks” the manager claimed. I feel the manager was being dishonest, as they seemed to think I had no further value once I completed the buyout, even refusing to provide basic support. With this kind of service, how can Southgate Audi expect customers to consider their loyalty program? It's truly a joke.

I purchased a pre-owned 2018 Audi S5 from this dealership on January 21, 2023. At the time of purchase, the Carfax report showed a minor damage claim from July 2022, totaling $1,430, which I signed off on. Fast forward to October 10, 2024—when I tried to trade in the car at another dealership, they ran a new Carfax report using my VIN. To my shock, the original $1,430 claim from July 2022 had been updated to a staggering $42,461.
As soon as I discovered this, I drove all the way from Calgary to Edmonton to confront the dealership, and all I got was a "sorry." No one is taking responsibility for this discrepancy. As a result, I lost $8,000 on my trade-in because no one is willing to buy a car with a $42,461 damage report at market value. Someone needs to be held accountable for this, and it won’t be me. I demand my money back! I’ll pursue legal action to resolve this

I recently was dealing with a frustrating car issue and it seemed no one could help me. It wasn't until I was in contact with the service assistant, Rhonda, that my issues started to get solved. Her communication skills and her years of experienced are the main reason I will be coming back to Southgate Audi.

We’re from Calgary and were in the market for an SQ7 for my Wife. The dealers in Calgary just seemed uninterested in putting a deal together for us. I reached out to Southgate and within minutes, Rob had gotten back to me. He continued to answer questions via email (with blazing fast response times) over the next several days, still without ever meeting us or us having seen the car. When we put an offer on the car Rob was away and he put us in touch with Sebastian who put together a very fair deal that was completed in 2.5 hours from our initial offer. At the dealership level Nathan and Illya were both fantastic to deal with. I can’t speak highly enough about the level of professionalism, ease and fairness that we experienced at Southgate Audi.

I took my car to this dealership for routine maintenance, and it turned into an absolute nightmare. When I picked up my car, I noticed a significant scratch and dent that wasn’t there before. I immediately pointed it out to the staff, but instead of taking responsibility, they initially tried to blame me for it. Luckily, I had pictures of the car from the day I dropped it off, clearly showing no damage. After reviewing the photos, they admitted that the damage occurred while my car was in their care and promised to fix it.
That’s when the excuses started. They assured me they’d schedule a repair but claimed there were no available spots. For six months, I kept calling, trying to get updates, only to be met with the same excuse: “We don’t have any openings right now.” Meanwhile, the damage to my car has gotten worse, with paint chipping increasing . Each time I spoke to the service manager, it felt like they were just stringing me along, offering hollow promises and pretending to care while doing nothing to resolve the issue.
The level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is staggering. Not only did they damage my car, but they also wasted my time for months with no intention of making things right. If you value your car and want honest, responsible service, I strongly advise against going to this dealership . This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I wouldn’t trust them with my vehicle again.

Rhonda is my go-to service advisor for my servicing needs for my 2020 S4. She was attentive and gave me updates throughout the day. She made sure all my questions were answered and ensured that the vehicle was ready at the time it was promised.
