Absolutely terrible bank. Sold my home and lawyer released funds in a trust check to the bank. They put a hold on the entire amount. I contacted the branch and was told there was nothing they could do, that’s their policy. I am a customer of 20 years with no issues. I let them know I would be cancelling my accounts with them and no care. I talked to my lawyer who stated that’s not right and most banks don’t do that with trust checks, she said she can talk to them to verify the funds. I called back and asked for a manager. I was told Manpreet would call me back in 5 minutes. 20 minutes went by and I called back and she answered. I asked why she didn’t call me back, she said she was too busy. I explained what was happening and my disappointment. I let her know my lawyer stated she can call and they can verify the check for her. She stated “I’m not going to do that”.
She kept talking over me and cutting me off. After arguing with a very unprofessional manager she agreed to release $2000. I will be pulling all funds and moving to another bank. I also have RBC and have cashed personal checks and never been treated like that. I talked to the bank manager there and they even stated that a manager can override the hold and they were being difficult for no reason.
This place has low ratings for a reason!

Almost no staff working on a Saturday, the busiest day of a week, terrible customer service, extremely slow service, only the manager knows what they are doing as proved by hovering over every associates shoulder to get things done, a poorly taken care of building. I watched them successfully help one person in 40 minutes. What a joke of a bank.

I never leave reviews but this TD location changed my mind. This is the worst TD location in Edmonton . Every time I go to deposit my cheque that I get from work every two weeks they always want to hold it for 5 business days to “ verify “ when I’ve been coming there for almost 1 year now. And I have to always remind them this is the location I normally deposit my cheque so there should be no hold on anything. ??♀️??♀️??♀️??♀️ I have no choice but to go to this location because If I change locations I would have to wait for another 5 business days and I have bills due .
This location has made me hate TD as a whole and has made me consider switching banks. And I will be in the near future because of this location.

Our company has been banking with this branch for 15yrs this year. I’m so tired of the wait times to do a deposit and grab coin and get back to work myself. For the past 5yrs at least, I have vented my frustration in this branch. Nothing changes, no more tellers available, line ups and people waiting for up to 15mins before being served is unnaceptable customer service. If we did this to our customers….I wouldn’t have the deposit to bank with you!! They’d go elsewhere. Please please please figure out the staffing situation at this branch. It clearly can’t operate with 1-2 tellers on shift at a time!!

Horrible treated me like I was second class citizen that I was not even recognized as a customer for past 25 years it does not matter how long you been with them what matters is you make more then what they make salary wise before they take you serious.

Third time I’ve come to this location to make deposits and the ATM said cash deposits unavailable. Staff need to be more on top of emptying the cash box. Using Td as my bank has become more and more of a headache in the past years.

We deposited a bank certified cheque Saturday. The teller said it would take 5 business days to clear and my husband said, no this is a bank certificated cheque it shouldn't take that long. The manager came out, told him, she would call the bank it was from to get it verified and call him when it was done.
Friday morning I called the bank to see why we haven't heard anything. Lady on the phone said it was our fault for not waiting around at the bank for it to be verified before my husband left. After wearing her down on the phone, she said she would look into it and see what happened and would call me back.
It is now Friday evening, bank is closed and no phone call from that lady today and still no phone call from the manager a week ago!

Horrible service here I am so sick of these institutions and the power they hold over your money. You deposit money and when you want to take out your own money they grill you about what it’s for and try to hold it. We need to start holding onto our cash and refuse digital currency. The system is rigged.

I needed to write a review about the incredible customer service we have received from our mortgage specialist Varun Kapoor. He has been absolutely amazing to deal with and I can’t believe how quickly he was able to help us . He was always available whenever we had a question. This TD branch have highest 1 star for a reason and that is incompetent staff they have specially the ON duty manager.They can never get the job done rite. The last one i dealt with was Renea,and she was terrible. She couldn't verify the Draft that she issued 10 minutes ago and when i called to ask,she said she is sorry and she told it was miscommunication. How can you not verify the Draft you have issued 10 minutes ago. I feel that any teenager can do the better job then her.This is the level of the qualified staff this TD branch have.I dealt with another as well few months ago and he was even worse then her.

I wish I could give less rating than 1 star. Had very bad experience dealing with branch and customer service manager (Manmeet). I ordered foreign currency before my trip which I didnt receive in time and the branch called me after 4 months to collect my currency. Instead of accepting their mistake by not calling customer on time, they just wanted me to collect usd from branch or credited in cad with exchange rate difference loss i have to bear. I had to complaint to senior complaint department to get resolution which I got through them. Will not go to this branch again.
