Great service, great people out there

Spent one week landing a deal with these people. I left a deposit holding the truck. Had to keep calling the finance team to find out what was happening. They didn't seem to care at all, finally got Mo the used sales manager to speak with me and he couldn't explain the issue or even try to find a solution. I needed 60k and these guys were trying to push my application through for 109k. I asked mo why they were doing this and he said this is how it works. He continued to tell me my preapproval at dodge was not true and that it was impossible. This was straight out calling em a liar. Unreal. We explained we would find other financing if they couldn't and he agreed we should go to the bank ourselves. We did and secured financing the next morning. That same morning the manager of the shop called to tell us that they sold the vehicle and their finance team didn't even finish getting the deal through for financing, even when my deposit was holding the truck. The finance team is lazy and they have no integrity in what they do. Speaking with the manager of this dealership, he apologize and essentially read us a script as to being sorry but no accountability was held at all. Owning 4 fords and a strong supporter of the brand, I'm absolutely disappointed in not only the level of honestly, but the level of integrity, horrible representation of the brand. I've filled a complaint with AMVIC about this as I haven't received my deposit back. Not a trustworthy place to support the ford brand and if you can do a deal with another outlet. Definitely avoid Mo the sales manger and Nickolas the finance officer. Absolutely no rush in this guys step at all and Mo has not a bone of integrity in his body. You could expect this from a shady used car place but did not expect this on a large ford dealer. In particular I was purchasing from grande prairie so landing this deal from afar was already difficult. Now I have a 65k loan funded sitting in my account. Below is the email I sent at closing the day before the sold it with my deposit. The last Nickolas couldn't even respond to my email and they were all notified that I was coming for the truck on my deposit but as you can see the lack of integrity prevailed. I hope this helps others when dealing with this place

Had a great experience dealing with Sheldon in finance; not only is he knowledgeable but he also takes the time to really answer your questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new car!

I should have at least received gas price reimbursement for driving from Ponoka to Freedom Ford, considering it was a wasted trip due to false promises. Unfortunately, your sales department failed to address my concerns and instead tried to sell me a vehicle at inflated price compared to other ford dealers in Edmonton.

Had an appointment to change out my summer tires and rims to winter rims along with an oil change and headlight adjustment at 8:00am. This was with their Quick Lane. As I had an appointment I chose to wait for my vehicle. I waited 2 hrs 15 minutes. Not sure it should take that long, other than that it's pretty good service.

I had such a good experience at team Ford. I found everybody so friendly and Sheldon in financing was really great because I find a lot of the financial aspect to be very confusing and he took me through everything and I was very comfortable with the decision I made

Update, I recently had warranty work provided by Team Ford, my Service Advisor, Hassan Aden, was meticulous in ensuring all work was completed to my satisfaction. I've dealt with various dealerships in 3 provinces and I have to give 5 stars to Hassan personally, he's the most conscientious, thorough and professional Service Advisor I've ever had the pleasure to deal with.
