Great little local shop. Prices in general are as good or better than the big chains. Surprisingly large selection for such a small store.

Make sure to check your bank statements after purchasing from this store, I was double charged on three separate occasions and when I went to try and rectify the situations with this srore the old man told me it's not his problem it is my banks mistake. Funny thing is it was my bank who phoned me to notify me of the duplicate charges. Terrible customer service and I WAS a long term customer which they have now lost for good.

The clerk was super helpful and helped me find imported Jamaican liquor selections. I was surprised to find what I was looking for as the store is smaller but well stocked. The store was clean bright.

I’ve been visiting YEG for the holidays over the last two years, staying with family in the Terwillegar area. I was advised to shop for liquor elsewhere because the 'old man' at this store was known for being unpleasant.
The first time I visited, it was on a weekday, and a young lad was working. While he didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable, he was at least friendly. On my second visit, I was served by a middle-aged lady, whose demeanor was stone cold and unwelcoming.
This year, I finally encountered the 'old man' everyone warned me about, and it was the worst experience yet. He was rude, yelled at me for simply asking if they carried a specific beer, and even got angry because the price on an item was wrong.
If you’re looking for better service, I’d recommend shopping elsewhere or visiting this store only on weekdays when the ‘old man’ isn’t around.

Old man working there super rude. trying to get a drink from top shelf instead of helping he yells and says “if you die i’ll get sued” like maybe help? then yells to leave the store. If i could give 0 starts i would , when is it ever okay to scream aggressively towards a customer?

Super friendly and they have a small selection, hidden little Gen of a community liquor store...their products do the trick. Haha

Not friendly or welcoming at all. The cashier is very conformational and defensive. I can see from the other posts that they may need to consider finding someone who is kind that works at the front. I will not be going back.

Alright selection. But . Cashiers are hardly helpful or friendly, half the time there's no one up front when I go in the store
And I won't go here anymore after I recently witnessed a man accidentally drop a 4 pack of glass bottles of beer, obviously a complete whoops. And the cashier was yelling at him telling him to clean it and pay for it, on the phone with the manager/owner I assume. Awful customer service. I can't imagine that .
