There was a leak in my bathroom sink. I’m not a plumber and I was hesitant to call a plumber. I went to Home Depot on Calgary Trail and a rep named Dwayne asked me to describe the problem. He then suggested an inexpensive fix and walked me through what I needed to do. I bought what he suggested and with minutes I fixed the leak. Thank you Dwayne

I walked into the location around 2:30 on Thanksgiving looking for a Grass trimmer.I asked a very nice man named Earl where they were, to which he responded that he has been looking for them all day and was frustrated because he could not find any of them in the store due to them being moved from their usual shelf.I decided to go ask another gentleman if he maybe knew where they were, he looked through the garden center and the yard tool area and also could not find them anywhere. His final response was that they'd need to look through the entire store to find where they were put, and even if they did I'd have to buy a battery and a charger with them as well, almost as in to turn me off of purchasing one.Probably one of the most frustrating and useless customer service moments I've ever experienced. Thank you for wasting my time today.

Ordered a Fridge online for a Nov 4 delivery and that date has been missed. When I reached out to customer support someone told me that the courier was guaranteed to receive it by end of day yesterday and now that date has been missed too and no one knows where my Fridge is or when I can expect it delivered. All they know is it is no longer with the manufacturer that sent it and not yet with the local courier that is supposed to deliver it.My tenants don't have a functioning Fridge and I am in the embarrassing situation of not being able to tell them when they can expect a replacement.

I went to tool Rental and Trent was extremely professional. This kind of service is what every business needs.The other staff members are nice and friendly also.

I called about tool rental they said they would transfer me I waited 2 minutes and they hung up I called again and I heard the phone pickup and then hung up. What kind of service is this!? this was at 1:30 on Thursday September 21st and it was a young lady who answered. guess I'm going to Canadian tire.

The building where I live installed a walk-in shower for me, and I went there to pick up a clear shower mat (that turns out I didn't need). It was extremely cheap.And now I have shower mat that I don't use. My sister has house, so I'll give it to her when she visits someday.The Home Depot itself was huge. With all kinds of things available. They were everywhere, and it turns out. What I wanted was way at the other end of the building. I needed a helper who worked there to help me find it. And thank the Lord for that! ?

Purchased a new-in box lawn mower. Upon taking it out of the box at home, I noticed the trimming bag had residual grass in it, and fuel tank had fuel in it.Returned to home depot and they gave me a hard time trying to return in, indicating that they have no control over returns being put back on the shelf. Was not offered any form of compensation for my time, or the hour long drive.6 months ago I had the same scenario with a circular saw, same hassle and lack of compensation. This will be the last purchase I make from a HD retail location. If I purchase a new tool, I expect it to be new, not used for a project and returned.Train better.

I purchased 2 chairs from this location online first thing this morning, I was planning on picking them up this afternoon. I got a unapologetic call a couple hours after my purchase to inform me that even though online it shows there is stock available, there actually isn't. First I was told that the system is slow to update, then I'm told that none of the specific chairs I purchased this morning, have been sold in 8 days. I expressed that the system should have updated the a lot sooner than 8 DAYS and that it kind of felt like maybe they just didn't remove the chairs from the floor and someone purchased the chairs after I'd already paid for them. This is when I was told that the chairs were most likely stolen and noone noticed until now. Whatever the shady reason is, this situation should have and could have been avoided, or at the very least, handled a lot better.

We were stuck on Saturday and we sought help from the dealership we bought the car from .We were not sure they could help however we tried. The service dept was busy so we left a voice message and no call back . Left another message no call back We drive all the way to the dealership to speak to the service dept. And they direct us to parts who have no idea how to help. I went to you tube saw the repair I needed to do . Cost me 15.00 to fix ourselves. Oh and when we walked into the service bay no customers no cars I guess they really did not want to help. Never going back godspeed to those who visit this location . Sell sell sell should be their new motto.

I went to Home Depot on Thursday, I wanted to saw some wood but based on their roll I couldn’t use the machine to cut them, because my pieces of wood weren’t belong to there, A young gentleman - Sam - works over there , helped me and cut them with hand saw. It was so big help. Thank you Sam??

Had the best customer service experience that I've had in a very long time ANYWHERE. The associates' Holly, Jim and especially Sam were knowledgeable and beyond helpful in trying to solve my "project" challenges. Biggest shoutout for going over and above in helping me. 11/10

These places - all that makes the difference is the staff. The staff here? Were awesome, friendly and helpful. My wife doesn't like my 40v weed whipper and wanted something lighter. Took about 2 minutes to find what she wanted. Great location....

Large box hardware and building supply chain. It has most of the brands that make sense for small renovation tasks. It has a lot of shortfalls when it comes to building supplies. I don't like big box retailers on principle, but most of the independents are gone now. The mid south side location is easily accessible for me, so in a pinch, I use it.
