I was told that my vehicle would be ready by 5:30 pm; I went there at about 6 pm and was told that the vehicle would be ready in 10, but after every 10 minutes, I was told to wait ten more minutes, I waited more than an hour. on top of that wires were left hanging I don't even know what to do with the wires

Good customer service. But, I paid for a hitch pin and never received it. I didn't realize it until I left. Partially my fault I guess since I didn't bring it up.

Came here as my hitch install at another installer was completely butchered. Snapped Bolts, and worn out threads that left the bolt free spinning. Not something I would want to haul around, or even attach to a trailer to.They were able to fix all that. Got me in and out in 1 hr. Thanks for the hard working staff, who were completely busy with customers in the span I was there. They have a good team dynamic, and were able to efficiently manage the Saturday influx. Thanks to Jon who did the install, who explained the step by step of how he was going to tackle the job. With his experience, he was bang on. Told me what he was going to do and how long it would roughly take.With the lifetime warrantee offered, I don't think I'll need it, but if I did, this would be the place I come back to.

Excellent service. Very friendly. Im a lady and i didn't know what I got myself into by taking a Cargo van. Gentleman by the name Mohammed gave me a 30second crash course and i aced it and was on the road immediately. Superb service even the other employees! So impressed!

I rented a 26 foot car hauler by phone from their 1800number Was told yes they would have it ready an a nw location at 7 am was up getting ready started my truck was on my way and got a call from uhaul 7 am to tell me nope sorry they changed the location of my trailer pick up to 95th and 50 street location and now it wouldn't be ready until after 330 pm sometime to come in after that to come get my 26 foot trailer.. Got there paid the deposit paid for the rental went out back to have them hitch me to a 12 to 14 foot car hauler that was not what I had been told by customer service that I would be picking up I told them that's not what I paid for that wont move the things I need moved the most which were a holiday trailer attached to a dodge ram 1500 ..They told me it was the biggest trailer they had that I should contact customer service again .. So I did was told I would get a refund upon the return of the trailer .. Well I returned the trailer after hours the next day because i had has some truck trouble and got stuck on the side of the road which I had contacted them about and they said was fine as long as the trailer got returned before morning .they where supposed to make a not on the file so I returned the trailer took pictures and 2-3 days later after dropping off the trailer I guess no one put in the trailer sitting in the yard had been returned so instead of getting a refund like they should be doing for renting me a trailer they don't even have to rent out and wasting my time and money now they are trying to charge me for days that the trailer was sitting in their yard just to cold to go outside and check to see it had been sitting there after I contacted customer service sent them picks of it still sitting in the uhaul parking lot . Beyond disgusted..what kind of customer service rent people trailers they dont have cant move the things you need to with it promises you a refund then because they didnt put it back in the system are trying to charge more money for a trailer they probably already rented out to someone else be

Reserved a 15' truck about 3 weeks prior to our move day. Used the online reservation service and thought everything was going to be good. Less than 24 hours before our move day we get a call that they don't have our truck, not at any location in our city and that they don't have any of the large trucks available. Instead we were offered a cargo van with an afternoon pickup (as opposed to our morning pickup that we reserved). Was also told that next time we should have booked through the phone and that online bookings don't guarantee your chosen vehicle. So for anyone looking to book, make sure you phone to ensure you actually will have a vehicle for your moving day. Very disappointed. The $50 credit will be used up for the extra 20 trips its going to take to move.

Reserved a 15ft u-haul weeks in advance. Had to phone twice after booking online because the information for the reservation was wrong - wrong date, time, and vehicle. Had to wait on hold both times, where an obnoxious message played on repeat (even worse than typical hold music). And after all that, I was told that they didn't have anything larger than a 9ft van available. Completely messed up my moving plans.

Poor communication between US call center and this location. Uhaul never called me to let me know that the hitch I paid to have installed had not arrived at their Uhaul location for the appointment time they scheduled with me ten days previous. They blamed me for not calling ahead when this is actually impossible as all calls go to their call center in Arizona. The nice lady at the call center was not able to do anything other than call the Uhaul location herself but for some reason could not give me their phone number so I could call myself. So, the lesson here is don't show up to a scheduled appointment with Uhaul and don't call them, they'll call you. (I have yet to get my hitch installed. Did Uhaul just rob me?)

After making a reservation for a truck beginning on a Friday morning until Sunday 4 months ago - I received a call 2 days prior to my reservation saying that I couldn't have the truck for that long. The person on the phone informed me that they don't rent moving trucks for that long and I would have to take a cargo van. I asked why in the first place I would have been rented a truck for that long if that was the company policy. He had no answer for me and said there was nothing they could do. I am now moving in a cargo van instead of a proper moving truck with 2 days notice. The employee did not understand how this was an inconvenience to me and could not connect me with a manager to help the situation. I would not rent from U Haul again unless I absolutely had to.

Did the online reservation. Easy. Vehicle was ready and waiting right on time. I walked in and out of the depot within 10 minutes, keys in hand. Upon drop off they used the fancy iphone app to bill me direct after a quick confirmation. Super swift service this time. All in the parking lot. I must recognize the friendliest UHaul rep of all time Aws Muraysh. This guy was ridiculously pleasant to deal with. Blew my mind. He genuinely cares about working there. I asked for his name to give him proper recognition. Thank you again Aws.

This was a terrible mess. First, I booked my hitch installation and paid for my parts online. The confirmation email said someone would contact me to set up a specific time. I received an email that my appointment would be at 7AM. The night before, I called to confirm and was told they had no record of my appointment and that there wasn't even a technician working the day of my appointment. The guy said he would leave a message for the manager to call me. So glad I didn't show up at 7 in the morning. I would have been so pissed! The next day I waited for a phone call and didn't get one, so in the afternoon I called and spoke to someone who said the tech wouldn't be in for 2 weeks. I asked to be contacted by the manager because this was clearly turning into a gong show. The following day I called again and asked to speak to the manager. She "wasn't available" and the person I spoke to tried to be helpful and booked me in that day at another location. I showed up and was told they could not install the hitch because the first location hadn't told them I was coming and they were saving the parts for another customer for next week. I had already paid for this and they wasted my time and were completely incompetent. I told them to forget it and give me my money back. They didn't know how to do that and I wasn't about to stand there while they jerked me around some more so I left. I guess you don't even get what you pay for when you get a cheap hitch at U-Haul.
