I recently had a medical emergency at this Walmart, which turned out to be a seizure, and I want to share how incredible the care I received was. I am especially grateful to the Manager, Angad, and his team. They stayed by my side the entire time, providing reassurance and support until my family and emergency services arrived about an hour later.
What truly surprised me was how willing Angad and his employees were to stay with me for the full duration, making sure I was okay. Their genuine care and professionalism left a lasting impression. This Walmart location has clearly done an excellent job hiring employees who truly care about their customers.
Thank you again to Angad and everyone who helped me that day. I will always be grateful for your support.

Very bad experience with Marion who was working in the beauty section, old lady with short hair. Few days ago. At first she asked me if I needed help, I thought she was helping in nature till I realized she was sticking to me like a chewing gum, giving looks as if I am about to steal something and making me feel so uncomfortable as she didn't even let me explore the products and invaded my private space. I realized and went from there and ordered the desired product from Amazon online. very poor customer service from her.

Amazing store manager Angad went out of his way during my mom’s medical emergency in store. Conducted traffic to keep customers away from the scene, reassured our family, waited an hour with us for EMS to arrive, never leaving the scene, and gave us a free blanket before the ambulance ride. Thank you so much. Selfless, genuine customer service

Gerry is one of the kindest and most helpful door greeters I have ever encountered. He clearly has what it takes to do this job. Always a smile and a cordial greeting. No matter what the weather he is there and rarely misses a day. Great job Gerry keep it up.

Gerry, the happiest, sweetest, most friendly greeter in the world works here! I was stuck here for an hour, waiting for my husband to pick me up. I spent that time watching how he interacts with customers and he’s so happy, kind and joyful to every single person, you can tell he loves his job! Giving stickers to the kids and fist bumps to everyone, personally telling everyone to have a Happy New Year. 5 stars for hiring a sweetheart like him!!

Love the staff that works in customer service especially Sukhkiran she is such a kind person, please hire more people like her it was such a great experience i use to go to tamarak location but ever since the interaction i had with this girl i will always be coming here! Let the manager of this girl know she is the best and she is the reason i come to shop at Watt common walmart.

I ordered online for pickup. Communication regarding my order and when it was ready was great! Some items were not available but showed as available online. Bal was the associate who delivered my order to my vehicle. She was so friendly and helpful. Much appreciated your help Bal!

The staff in makeup, customer service and electronics, and the greeter were all amazing. Thank you for your patience, listening and being helpful. Wow. And there was a great sale on my monitor too, which was fantastic. My return was very easy and the overall experience was seamless.

I recently had the misfortune of shopping at the Walmart in Watt Common, Edmonton, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst retail experiences of my life. The store is poorly managed, and it shows in every aspect.
First and foremost, the online order tracking is non-existent. I placed an order and received no updates, leaving me completely in the dark about when—or if—I would receive my items. When I finally visited the store to inquire, I encountered the most unhelpful staff imaginable. They seemed just as confused as I was and offered no solutions, only excuses.
The overall customer service was abysmal. Employees were either unavailable or uninterested in assisting customers. The checkout lines were long, with only a few registers open, making the entire experience frustrating and time-consuming.
Walmart corporate needs to take a hard look at this location. It’s clear that there’s a severe lack of oversight and management, and it’s affecting the shopping experience. If this is the standard of service at Watt Common, I would advise anyone to shop elsewhere. This store is a textbook example of how not to run a retail operation.

Was here today, there were 4 men in front of me with shopping carts. Each shopping cart was filled with 4 liter milk containers. They got to the checkout area and the lady working there with a big smile on her face scanned all of the milk and let them buy it all! I was was dumbfounded. There must have been at least 10 jugs in each shopping cart. Firstly, the gawl of these men to buy all this milk! There are others who would like milk, and secondly, this staff member with glee sold it to them. Seriously this side of the city is in a downward spiral. No ethics and no concern for others that live here. Pathetic.
