This place is terrible. Never find anyone to help. Weird lighting, dirty store. Aggressive security trying to check receipts while exiting. Oh, and awesome direct energy salespeople harassing you on exit.

Shelley and Haris helped me out with my cancelled online order that I had earlier in the day and all the troubles I had dealing with customer service on the phone. They tried their best to help with the situation and helped with the essentials with getting some groceries. I'm very appreciative for this. Thanks again!

I always went to walmart for my maintenance medicine in BC now we move to AB and the pharmacy manager An Lin told me that i can still get my prescription while looking for a family doctor and I still do. Not having any luck again I’m running low on my maintenance so I went back to get it but An Lin wasn’t there so I talk to another guy Rosheed his name I believe and he told me I can’t get my prescription anymore and that I need a doctor first or just go to a walk in clinic! He wasted my time and the relationship between me and walmart. Now I won’t gona get my medicine with them anymore!

This is a review in general about Walmart not only this specific location. The fact that i have to do my own check out should give me a discount as i basically work for free. Having to pay for a bag is also something that was a Customer perk and convinience and if you forgot to buy one you are SOL and you need to go through the process again. No, I don’t carry bags with me at all times. Just add the cost to product prices and everyone Will be happy. The cost would be insignificant. Needless to say how many people lost jobs with these self check outs. Might as well shop on Amazon for a piece of mind. Walmart please don’t complain when you start shutting store down.

Always out of stockEmployee at the cosmetic section was watching (in an obvious manner) two young black girls who looked very presentable, not to mention i got curious and stayed around and didn't notice any sign of them being thief.No one came and asked to help me, so I asked for help and no one knows anything they keep making excuses and say 'ask someone', so so horrible.Rude employee, about 10 minutes left before close, and I had to hear from every employee i walk by telling me 'they are closed'. Very sad, they just want to get out of there.... don't care.... and that is because the management aren't setting a good example and disorganized.

I am a Ube driver ,you have to change 50% of the stuff because they think walmart for them when the kick someone out and said that I can't go in walmart anymore.If you go to ask anyone for she start to be nervous.They just want money without working

We were in line to pay for groceries when the cashier asked the person in front of us to apply for a credit card. I realize she was doing her job but it took a ridiculous amount of time. When I voiced my concern she thought it appropriate to argue with me.I found this to be u acceptableI will never apply for a Walmart credit card. I will not ever shop at this location again

I called the customer service before start driving and attend in person for my inquiry. Customer service did not respond my call. I tried ten minutes again. Nobody responded. I tried in 20 minutes and again nobody responded my call. As I was out, I attended the store in person. When I asked Customer service manager, Ms, Deisi, why they are not responding their phone she responded “you came to me and I told you our system was off”. I said it’s about a week I haven’t shopped at this location and she was taken me wrong with another person. I asked her if I can talk to a assistant manager of customer service. She said she’s busy in the back office. I asked her since you don’t know the answer could you please let her know that a customer want to ask a question from her? She did so. I waited about ten minutes while I had ice cream in my car. I asked the manager could you go and ask her again? Very unwillingly she went, and she said the same thing. I said never mind; here’s my phone number. Please give it to her and ask her to give me a call. I never received a phone call.I think current customers are in priorities compared to future customers…anywayNot feeling welcomed and ignored

One star is too much. A friend and I stopped in at Walmart this evening at 9pm.I could not believe how dark the parking was. No outdoor lighting on at all. The rest of Northgate mall is all lights on.. It was so dark you could hardly see the lock on your car door. Very unsafe for a store that stays open till 10pm not to mention homeless people camped out wherever. Walmart should be embarrassed. This is all part of customer care. Cusromer safety is imperative. You want customers to spend money and too cheap to have a decent parking lot.

I went to get my free pre filled water bottle, which primo offer in their coupon, and they told me they don’t have the promo in the store, so primo is false advertising for their product, I don’t recommend buying any water dispenser from primo or Walmart for any reason, they don’t honour their ads, disappointing. And the employees no knowledge of what’s so ever what’s offered as a promotional offer.

Me and 2 other buddies were kicked out and supposedly "banned" for 6 months after being falsely accused by your loss and theft personal who refuses to provide and proof of his position, we were falsely accused of stuffing shoes(?) And throwing items around. Supposedly caught on camera doing it but wouldn't show us the proof, not happy with this situation as we were walking around looking for things to buy like normal human beings.

Do not shop here if you are prepared to be accused of stealing while shopping for items available in store. They will have loss prevention approach you and accuse you of it if you have items in your hand(s) and not in a shopping cart or basket. Loss prevention/security claim they have caught you on camera, they also say you have to pay for your items first before leaving the cosmetic department but no signs are posted near the cosmetics department. They claim by word of mouth that it's a "new" policy yet if you ask for camera/surveillance footage they won't provide it.If you ask where the policy is written they don't provide that information either. It's basically your word against theirs and they will tell you that you are banned for shopping there for a year but won't put that in writing for court purposes if you ask.Plus they will tell you to empty your personal bag and expose your personal items that are in it to prove you aren't stealing.They do not understand the definition of stealing and make their own version up. They disagree if you explain that when you pass the exit without paying it is technically stealing but if you are still inside the store carrying items that you will eventually pay for, it's called shopping.They will accuse you of stealing regardless.If you ask to speak to the manager on how the loss prevention is behaving they will take the side of loss prevention immediately and provide no evidence of a sign stating where shoppers are to pay for cosmetics only, just by word of mouth.Loss prevention is unhelpful there because they do not appear at the exits where the alarms goes off frequently. They are to check items and/or receipts of customers who exit the store but they don't. It all depends on how you look obviously while you are shopping.Their location is full of expired produce and meat plus have no staff to assist you when you need help with price check. It is worth it to drive to other locations if necessary but not this location and Wal-Mart doesn't price match other locations either.If Wal-Mart becomes a warehouse full of inventory with self-check kiosks and bots who deliver your items to the kiosk for you then staff might appreciate their employment and not judge customers.Corporate should be aware of how their staff are in their Canadian stores and should change them immediately like they did in some US locations that are run by bots only. Hire staff that are proud to help customers rather than accusing them of stealing when they haven't even left the store yet. Slander is common from staff who make stupid assumptions based in looks.The washrooms are disgusting and hardly cleaned regularly. The store is small and staff are often socializing with coworkers or on their cellphones when they should be organizing shelves or helping customers. They are not friendly.

This is a smaller location and it shows in the lack of stock of certain items. The cosmetic section is especially lacking, understocked shelves are quite common. Worth the drive to a much larger location.
