I bought a tablet from them back in June. When I bought it I asked them if the protection plan covered accidental damage, they said yes. So I agreed to buying it and paying the extra for the protection plan. My daughters ONN tablet fell out of their crappy ONN tablet case that don't actually fit their tablets. I called Asurion and they told me they in fact DONT cover accidental damage, and to contact Walmart.ca who told me since I didn't buy online there's nothing they can do and to contact the store instead.
I have called this store everyday for 3 days with no one answering their phones. Of course ONN is their brand so good luck finding a new screen for it!! Very disappointing to have been lied to about the protection plan, and for their own tablet brand to have garbage, ill fitting cases that are the same brand!

Called with a western union enquiry, the woman on the phone said No and hung up. I hadn't asked my question??

Very poor experience. I went to this store ready to make a purchase, but no one helped me at all. I was left waiting for a long time while the staff ignored me completely.
We tried to speak with the manager; she said she would call the manager, but no one ever showed up. There was no follow-up, no explanation, and no concern for customer service.
I do not recommend this store. There are plenty of other places where customers’ time is respected.

Absolutely unacceptable service.
I came in ready to buy a refrigerator and asked for help. An employee told me to wait in the aisle. I waited 30 minutes and no one ever came back.
I went back to customer service, explained the situation, and was told to wait again. Same result. Then I asked for the manager. I was told the manager was “on the way.” I waited even longer and the manager never showed up.
The only person who actually tried to help was a woman greeting customers at the entrance. Everyone else completely ignored me.
At that point, I gave up and left. I went straight to Canadian Tire, where I was helped right away and completed my purchase with no issues.
This store clearly doesn’t value customers or their time. If you don’t want to sell, that’s fine—but don’t waste people’s time. I will never come back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Don I think was his name is such a terrible employee. He shouldn’t work In customer service if he hates being nice. I felt so unwelcome, hopefully he gets some more training.

I've been stopping here for years to pick up odds and ends, occasional groceries, and quick convenience items, and over that time this store just seems to be getting progressively worse. Worse for selection. Certainly worse for customer service. Asking staff for help finding items that you have already purchased in the store before, is seemingly met with disdain and you couldn't possibly be inconveniencing them more with such an absurd request.
Despite the convenient location I just can't see myself returning here unless it's out of absolute necessity, and not for anything remotely out of the thinning variety of main grocery items they choose to keep in stock.
Just one more sad example of how big box stores simply don't care about anything but maximum profits, at the expense of limited variety and sacrifice of any significant level of customer care.

Very poorly managed Walmart location. Almost every time I visit, most checkout lanes are closed, resulting in long lines and unnecessary waiting. Either more staff need to be hired, or management needs to improve scheduling to ensure smoother checkout service.

Attention Manager
Phoned Walmart customer service today December 1 at 1:13 pm to check for an item that is on their Walmart website if it is available in their store before I travel there. She put me on hold with music for over 30 mins now I am still holding instead of helping to look for the item if available in their store. They just hope customers would hang up. Worst so call customer service! 👎

The store is quite small, and there is not as much variety compared to other places. The bakery section is very limited and it feels like it is just one small aisle. They also do not have any premade meals. This store is more for basic essentials rather than full grocery shopping. The customer service is really good though.

I’ve had a really disgusting experience at this Walmart. I live close by, so I usually shop here for groceries, but for the past two weeks every visit has been awful. The employee named Rajinder has been extremely rude and unprofessional each time I’ve interacted with her.
Today, despite my previous bad experiences, I went back again. When I got to the cashier, it was the same lady, Rajinder. My total was over $200, and I told her that my tap only works up to $100 and that I had two cards, so I asked if she could split the payment. She laughed and said, “Oh no, we can’t split payments here, even on two different cards.” That is simply not true—I’ve done it at this location many times before and i also confirmed this with cashiers at self checkout and they said yes we can do that very easily.
This behavior was completely unnecessary and honestly very upsetting.

Liar customer service lady at Return counter this noon. I needed to return childrens snow jacket set with intact price tag/bar code which I purchased 5 days ago and advised customer service agent that I don't have the bill on me. She outright said refund cannot be processed without bill which is a lie. I told her that store has the policy to provide store credit if shopping bill is not presented during return to which she appeared unhappy of the fact that I knew about return policy better. She should have offered me this option first rather than bluntly denying to accept return. She appeared to be an experienced agent rather than a newbie. She later proceeded to process the return but never apologized for misinformation and throughout the transaction she appeared indifferent and suspicious. Such people should not be at customer service but only in a role with limited public interaction.

My girlfriend and I were shopping at Walmart Calgary Trail on November 9, 2025, between 6:50 PM and 7:10 PM. While we were scanning our items at the self-checkout, my boyfriend stepped away briefly to grab a reusable bag. That’s when the self-checkout attendant rudely intervened, claiming that we were doing Uber deliveries and insisting we use paper bags instead.
We explained that we were shopping for personal use, not for Uber, but she continued to be disrespectful and dismissive. She accused us of lying simply because we were checking our phones to confirm the items we had purchased for ourselves. Shockingly, she then demanded to see our phones and actually looked at them — a complete invasion of our privacy.
This behavior was absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply offensive. No customer should ever be spoken to in such a demeaning manner or have their personal privacy violated in this way.

The fact that I have to put 1 star to even make a comment here is wrong. I give 0 stars for 3931 Calgary trail Walmart. I went to buy a few goods today and after PAYING at the cosmetic section I was stopped and demanded I show my receipt. When I kept walking the store associate was close to me it felt like she was going to grab my bag, ultimately I decided I wasn't going to support this location with my hard earned money and went back in after a brief confrontation at the exit. When. I was requesting my money be returned the staff was calling police as I was recording for my own safety and accountability I was also threatened with trespassing and told not to come back. That's how Metis is treated here and it's disgusting. I paid for my merchandise and was told to never come back after telling them they were prejudice towards me. Absolutely disgusting.
I'm not sure if Walmart is even a Canadian owned business. I refuse to be treated like that. I believe I was profiled absolutely 💯 illegal and police don't help private citizens.
Walmart can treat you like garbage call police and not return your money. I was told to go to another location which didn't make sense I bought it there I wanted my return there. Your staff is negligent not I.

Disgusting customer service. Went in today with myself and three small children to get our weekly groceries for school snacks etc & Christmas decorations. Upon check out at self checkout. I had scanned everything but forgot the milk. Just before paying the cashier reminded me I forgot to scan the milk… no problem. Told her I missed it and scanned it. She then proceeded to tell me I didn’t scan anything in my cart. So I asked her can we go over the screen so you can see that everything was scanned. She then refused to look over the screen and told me I had to cancel my order and re scan everything in front of her. Mind you my children are 4,6 & 8. I’m all alone. So I get frustrated as she’s making a scene in front of everyone. So I told her then if she wants to cancel my order then she will have to ring everything in herself so she can see. She then continued to refuse to do so. By then telling me if I want any of my items I have to re ring it in all by myself in front of her. She goes ahead and cancels my order and refuses to let me buy the food myself and my kids needed for the week. When I talked to a “manager” she then told me it’s not her department and she will tell her it’s wrong. Which isn’t enough. She belittled me in front of my peers and my children for no reason. She accused me of something and refused to solve the problem simple. Very disappointing as I liked this location. Won’t ever be coming here again!
