I can’t say I’m feeling the energy of the new place. Not as well organized & really hot in the store. I like the last 2 locations better. Also their prices have kind of gone bonkers & it seems like they have less stock then before, a lot less for higher prices. But I do like that it’s a witch-centric shop in Edmonton but can afford to shop there very much anymore? All the best to the staff - seemed a bit frazzled today.

Atmosphere was very calm and I had plenty of time to browse around the shop at least 3 or 4 times! Staff were very friendly and helpful with wrapping my glass candle holders, overall a very pleasant experience!

Love this shop. You will find books, crystals, herbs, and best of all...easy going people that will answer all your questions. They also have classes periodically you can take. I totally recommend this shop!!!!!!

I came here looking to buy a deck of tarot cards and the staff was helpful and provided good information. I had a good experience, however, I will not shop here again. On my way out, I noticed they sell white sage which is inappropriate and disrespectful to Indigenous cultures. I was quite surprised because smudging with white sage is well known to be a sacred cultural practice of Indigenous peoples.

This is absolutely the best metaphysical store I have ever shopped at. Five star customer service with five star quality. The prices and selection are unbeatable. If you thought the old location was fabulous,better put on your sunglasses to shade your eyes from all that sparkle. Once you land safely. Do not worry about parking your broom, the new location has ample parking. With a full 90 mins of shopping time. Sitting on the very corner of the strip, the store is lit by sun and great vibes. Do not forget the wonderful scent of incense,candles and essential oil’s. So warm welcoming and invigorating. The herb section is one of a kind and perfect for spell work. Whatever you choose to do with magic they have something for you. Decks,crystals,candles,books,burners and the collective knowledge of the staff. If that isn’t enough they have on going classes, courses, markets, talks and unending fun. The magic is in you let Where Faeries Live help you find your “Inner Witch”. The staff were really nice and the pricing seem decent. However my friend and I bought surprise boxes today and one contained WHITE SAGE. There was no description other than “Mystery box, $25.” There was no description that there would be WHITE SAGE in the box. It is very disappoint finding that plant do to its cultural significance. It’s disappointing seeing cultural appropriation in a very accepting environment.

This was the first time that I have been to the new location and I was thoroughly disappointed. The new location may be a larger space but, it definitely does not offer much more items in fact I think it offers less. I went in looking for specific tarot and oracle cards as well as a tarot journal, candles , card bags and some crystals. When I first walked in I was approached by the sales girl who asked if I needed help in finding anything so I asked where the tarot and oracle cards were and she walked me over to one small section that had tarot cards on one side and oracle cards on the other. I asked if this was all of the cards and she said “yes, and there are books on the wall behind you”… so I looked over all of the cards and none were the cards I was looking for and the cards they did have in stock were priced higher than I had seen on Amazon. Then I walked around looking for the other items and that is when a couple of other ladies walked in and they were on a time limit so they split up to look for items. So as I was looking at the crystals and thinking “why is half of the store just crystals and candles?”… I heard the woman ask the sales girl for a tarot journal and I thought yeah I need one too!!! Only to find out that they don’t carry them… so in the end I left with a carry pouch, a few candles and a holder and a bracelet and all that cost me $59… I also asked about the Tarot Reading class coming up in May and how long do you have to register and the response I received was “I dont know, probably until it’s full I guess”. So my question is… are there new owners running the shop because I remember the staff from the last location and they were always so helpful… the staff now… no comment ???

This is the stupidest thing I've ever left a review on, but whenever I buy something here the price stickers come off SO EASY. There's no residue, no tears, they just peel off perfectly and easily. Love it. Great shop.
