I returned a defective item (an $80 sweater that after one wear developed a hole where the Zara tag was sewn on). I noted the item was defective in my return request. Three weeks after the return was sent back, I received an email that my return was being denied because it was not in acceptable condition. Exactly. It was defective. I had since moved, and the email said I should contact customer service to change the address the item would be returned to. I did, but the item I already being shipped to my old address. That’s that I’m told. I am now out the item, an hour of my time and $80. They will not do anything except “try” to have the item returned to sender. I was told I should watch the tracking number (which I was not provided) and return to my old address to retrieve the parcel once it’s been delivered. Their unwilling to provide any resolution or to see that a product defect should be reasonable grounds for a return or exchange is disappointing and maddening.

I came to the store today and saw a jacket i wanted to buy. The sticker price was 39.99. When I came to the till the sales associate stated this was in euro and did not include shipping. I thought that sounded wierd so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager named Nicole came over and said the price on the tag was wrong and they wont price match it. I asked about the canadian code of practice for consumer protection. She said they dont have that at the store and dont follow that and thier store Policy is not to price match any incorrect tags found in the store. This not only sounded unprofessional and in violation of canadian business practice, but she was rude in saying this. Cut me off before i was done speaking and overall did not look interested in speaking to me. Would encourage management to adress her poor attitude.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never been so disrespected in my life I brought items out of the changing room and the “manager” scoffed and said “you could at least hang them” I could’ve just left them and walked. Incredibly rude staff will not be returning

Was a regular Zara customer but the only thing this store/Zara is good at is taking your money. Until i got a defective belt I was a good customer to them. I Live out of the city and closest Zara store is 5 hr round trip. Got a belt with a few other things and less than 2 days the whole thing came apart at my work. Tried calling their store and customer service. After 30 mins on hold the guy told me there customer service is only for online order then told me to hold and hung up on me. 3 months after I finally got a chance to go to the store with the receipt and product they looked at me and told me to call the customer service again as they can’t help me in store but will return or exchange it if i call and get a ticket number. Same thing 30 mins hold only to be hung up upon. Will never shop at Zara again. Please shop at other brands who actually care about their customers.

So I from Kelowna,because our house on evacuated. I need the receipt for my insurance.and I don’t know if they scan my phone app I can’t get the paper receipt. And the cashier(a girl with lip nail)try to not help me. And I told her I need the paper receipt .then she called their manager come.which is very funny she said can’t give me the paper receipt too. So I asking her if I return it and buy it again can I get the receipt? She said yes.(then the cashier doing my return all the time looks grumpy .that’s not how’s you trying to help your customer.have the time to grumpy why don’t think about how to help?that’s your guys waste time !!!)so disappointed if I could I’ll give 0 stars

Horrible service, no one’s friendly. We asked for help for some jeans, someone said they would look. They didn’t end up, checking, and if they did, they never came back to us. On top of that, the fitting room lady was very rude for literally no reason. If you want help finding something, try to avoid going at this location if you can.
