Bought some nitto tires from kaltire. End up with a flat around 8000. Took it into for a patch which was awesome. 3000 km later I have a massive bulge in it. Tech says he’s never seen a tire do it and hold air. I was told they will measure the tread and warranty it by the service manager. He went on lunch and I was left with the assistant to the manager who tells me he sees this all the time and that I hit a pot hole and it’s road damage…no warranty. $480 later I have a brand new tire on it. I have now been doing my rotations for $150 at a different shop. The girl that looked at my tires measured the depth of my spare tire which I put on. Had no clue that the spare tire is under the box on a truck, the assistant manager is a scum and deserves a raise for screwing over costumers. Needless to say I took my brand new tire that was buldged to another kaltire where they warrantied it. I would strongly recommend anyone that is doing business with kal tire to drive the hour to Fort McKay, at least your getting professionalism. It’s unfortunate that the manager wasn’t in. It’s what happens when you hire unqualified and promote within. The techs were awesome, sales and costumer service absolutely terrible. My old review - 1 star "Don't bother calling. If they do happen to pick up, they will just put you on hold and then disconnect you."
My new review- Manager went above and beyond to help me. Every time I call now, the phone is answered. I have been put on a quick hold once, but they returned to the call promptly. They have a new manager, and I believe she is turning the shop around.

Staff was profession and pleasant, however they messed up my request and could not immediately fix the issue they caused, so now I'm driving studded winter tires when it's +10/15 degrees outside.

Mark and the very congenial lady at the front are great.
Mark was quick to find and ensure me he had my tires within a few minutes. A terrible day with one flat and one losing air . Mark and the techs got me on my way to work all with an HR and a half of my call

I was leaving site after my 10 day shift and realized I had a nail in my tire, pressure was low and continuing to leak. Had to drive all the way back to Calgary so didn’t want to risk filling it and hoping I make it. I phoned up the Kal tire gregoire location and Sam was super friendly and helpful. She was able to get me in very quickly, had a coffee in the waiting room and was on my way. Excellent customer service.

The customer service has been awesome. We recently purchased new tires and the support and pricing was great. Today, we had an incident with our trailer tire and they helped us immediately to get us back on the road. Thank you Jade and James ?

First time customer, bought Four new all weather tires for my vehicle, had some annoying vibration and took it back and the guys immediately found the problem that was no fault of theirs but another business that did the brake job but they fixed the problem, check front ends free of charge and they actually saved me money by recommending to push the alignment job for another time. From front desk all the way back, I just want to say thank you. You earned a customer.

Heading up to work from edmonton had a well bearing go on my truck. The guys at this kal tire work the over time to get it back on the road. (I walked in at 4:50 10 min befor closing) huge shout out to them for getting my welding truck back on the road so I didn't miss out on a days pay. Definitely go see them if your having trouble super friendly.

Brought my truck in for a tire rotation, during the reprogramming of the TPS sensors one of them failed. I initially went through the GM dealership to see if they could reprogram and/or replace. They wanted me to pay replacement costs for the sensor and also the labour costs. Jade and her team at kal tire fort McMurray managed to get me an appointment that same day and had the issues resolved with no added expense to myself. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service and will continue to support this business in the future.
Also, in response to some of the older reviews; they answer the phones now.

Had 2 loose trailer tires to get fixed. Worst service I have ever had. 4 hrs to do one patch and one new tire. Bad employees to talk too won't answer simple questions. And when you finally get to talk to one they start to help you then they run over and help one of there friends that walk in. Should not take 4 hrs to do 1 change over and 1 flat repair. Kaltire has gone down hill. Would not recommend using them at all. Go to Fountain or any other tire shop
