The cashier named YESHA was extremely rude. After scanning my items, she was tossing them onto the counter instead of handling them properly. At Save-On-Foods, staff usually help pack groceries, but despite no one being behind me, she didn’t bother. Instead, she just placed the paper bag flat on the counter and then stacked items on top of it, making it impossible for me to pack. Very unprofessional service.

Overall, it was high prices, but the prepped sushi was amazing. If you're looking for a quick trip, though, it's great.

I like this place alot, and its the only place i can buy dandilion leaves for my tortoise in winter, and multiple times ive had self checkout staff stop me and tell me that they need to check to make sure im not inputing a cheaper option instead of the right one.
Spoilers: theres only one option.
The same folks watch me buy this product multiple times a month. Do better and stop harassing me when im buying dandilions 🤣

Totally disrespectful!! I’m looking for some products to buy in store and one of the employee came and said show me your pocket you are putting things in pocket!!
Without checking cameras you don’t have right to blame anyone.Next time not your store.

It was a long day at work. I bought a Chicken Pot Pie, got home, and sat on my couch. I opened the pie and took the first spoonful—it tasted good and felt comforting. But in the next moment, I was pulling a long strand of woman’s hair out of my mouth from the pie. It was very gross, and I almost threw up. I ended up disposing of the pie and having a banana for dinner instead. Thanks, Save-On-Foods.

Ordered sandwich and wrap trays,Pickles also last evening and picked up at 8:30 next morning. The legion Manor seniors are sending their applause to the deli girls. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also pleasing presentation! Well Done Deli Department.

Whenever I am at a Save-On foods in Calgary and I go through a till with a cashier they always pack my groceries for me. At this store they don’t usually say hi and they never pack my groceries. I’m curious why the standards in Fort McMurray are so much lower than in other communities. Please don’t reply it’s just Fort McMurray because I have lived here for most of my life and I use to work at this store when it was Safeway so I know this store can and should be better.

Please do not come here unless you want to be accused of theft!
My mother and I were accused of stealing for no other reason than we had a personal shopping cart with us (we don't have a car so it makes carrying groceries a lot easier.) The employee monitoring the self checkout looked through our stuff and cleared us while berating us for not letting them know we had it beforehand(???). I understand that theft is on the rise, but surely there is a better method than blaming random people for it? The dirty looks we got from other customers while getting it checked were very embarrassing. We will not be shopping here unless there is no other choice.

I mainly shop here out of convenience and location. For the most part, this store has everything I’m looking for but I find that things run out quickly or they don’t carry certain items that I have to source elsewhere. For example, chive and onion Philadelphia cheese spread. Why don’t you carry this anymore? Makes no sense how you have most of them, but not this one.
