Shame on Walmart and their managers. Cadets were selling poppies Now 2 2024 and they weren't allowed inside the store. They were told to stand outside the store(unsafe for these young cadets) FYI other stores in this area let the Cadets into their store to sell poppies.

They close their doors like 10 mins before the time. And have the exit side open for you. It's messed.
And! The baby section is not with pharmacy at the front... It's waaaay in the back corner so you gotta go through everything to get diapers. It should be with pharmacy. I just get a bad vibe too. Every Walmart is pushing their credit cards and I get asked almost everytime. Like.. why are you trying to milk poor people? They don't need your credit card or giving you an email to spam. And you made so much profits every year, why don't you donate to those causes more? Like... For customers too? Every transaction of 100$ you pay 10$. That said ems more fair. Get it together Walmart. No employee here looks happy. I say hi and they brush you off. Pay them well. Well enough to care about a customer who just wants diapers before closing. Like for real. Stop the slimy actions Walmart.

WATCH your prices at checkout!!!! Advertised prices in the store are NOT always the same at checkout!!! Happens to me WAY TOO OFTEN there. Two days ago I picked a Kabob Package advertised at $8.97 at an end row with a big sign above the area. The checkout price was 13.97. I called the girl over and she went and got a "Supervisor". The "so called Supervisor" came and took the package and said she would go look. I specifically told her where they were. She soon came back and showed me a photo she took of "the tag" and said they ARE 13.97. I told her the big sign above was 8.97 and that is the ONLY product in that cooler. She said no...it was 13.96 period!! I brought them up online and showed her the sale price for 8.97. She said they don't always have the same price as online. SERIOUSLY??!!!!! HORRIBLE STORE!!! Today I went to Sherwood Park Walmart and there they were at 8.97 and they also rang in at 8.97. DO NOT SHOP AT NE LONDONDERRY (Clairview) unless you check every item, or you'll get ripped off and they couldn't care less!!!!

I've read so many complaints on here and realized people here are just a bunch of crybabies.
No, this store does not feel like a prison, however certain people will be flagged as person of interest and will be harassed only because it's necessary, and too bad for you if you don't like it, because they don't like their things being stolen, so boo hoo to you.
Yes, theft is a HUGE problem here, and I think they should have a police officer on-site at all times because of it.
Now, In one of the reviews here, an Indigenous lady complains that her 3-year-old is being accused of stealing candy.
In my experience, and on more than one occasion I've witnessed Indigenous families with toddlers shoplifting, using toddlers to mask themselves as innocent.
This lady complaining is not as innocent as she claims to be.
Some Shoplifters do purchase items but they also have stolen items hidden at the same time.
I've witnessed Shoplifters try and use complaining as a tool to get away with stolen items, and sometimes these thieves make a big scene to try and achieve it ( but it never works )
I've also noticed that most Indigenous people have trouble understanding the concept of what is considered rude.
My ex-girlfriend was one of them. Employees would help her in the most polite way but she would still walk away yelling "You're so rude "
So don't listen to any of the complaints here because they're not the victims.
I'm certain the employees have a lot to say and complain about to the customers as well.
Anyways,
all in all this store is as good as any other, it is recommended to shop here.
Every store has its good and bad days. Ohh what you've seen a lot of mold in the produce aisle, well boo hoo, have you considered maybe they're short-staffed? Ohh what the employee didn't help you with your expectations, well boo hoo, maybe he/she is new and or under a lot of pressure.
there's a reason for everything, so stop whining and analyzing everything and just let life live.

I go to this walmart regularly for groceries etc and today I went to purchase a game for my switch. I had purchased the game at the electronics cash register, because you can't take them up to the regular one. I had my receipt visible when I went to leave and one of their cashiers an older woman, with white hair chased me out and confronted me while I was waiting in line at mcdonalds and demanded my receipt. Despite the fact you can't even take those out of the electronic section without paying first. (I used to work at walmart so I know their policies) she embarrassed me, made me feel like a thief in front of everyone and my 4 year old son. Stay as far away from this place as possible. I will no longer be shopping here.

Very rude, unprofessional and poor customer service. They make up their own rules. They don't understand what is the issue and confused themselves plus saying it's not their problem if I lost the receipt. They are supposed to assist as much as they can but they don't.

If I had to rate this store a zero I would. Staff is unhelpful and rude. Won’t unlock a cart for anyone, worst experience. Very dissatisfied with the service

Front page flyer oranges taking up 1/4 of the front page, 0 in store, not even a tag! Front page Great Value popcorn chicken taking up 1/4 of the front page, 0 in store, not even a tag! I also wanted the pasta brand on sale and they only had 1 shape in stock! A store full of false advertising if they don't even carry a tag and have a spot for the items they advertise in flyer, not going back.

Was there earlier today shopping. Only to find out when I was getting ready to checkout the systems are down. Nice job in wasting a consumers time. Just left my cart of mixed frozen and fresh for the store to deal with it.

I understand it’s September. I thought that meant a small selection of swimming suits. You have 0 in stock and that’s insane to me. There are indoor pools in Edmonton year round! Also this store is disgusting, it’s always dirty. Clean and have better stock, ridiculous!

Ruby at customer service has no knowledge about customer service. I wish Walmart provide some training and discipline to its employees.
