“I arrived late in the evening and was offerred a ground floor room. As it was early in the season, i had other options. As a roadside motel it has very nice rooms, there were basic but clean. A complimentary bottle of water awaited in the room plus kurieg coffee. The staff remembered me from my previous visits and were friendly and efficient. A Continental break fast was available. It had a wide selection including french toast.”

“I travel often for work and Ive been coming to this hotel once or twice per month for well over 10 years now.
Theres no better place to stay between Edm and GP.
This is not the Ritz-Carleton, but it is a well run, clean and orderly hotel, catering mostly to blue-collar oil and gas workers and truckers. Considering the area it is in- with its rugged rough country, thousands of kms of forestry/lease roads, and the insane winters- it is incredible that the staff here can keep the place as clean and tidy as they manage to.
(FYI- Mud, grease, oil. Thats what the rags are for. Us working guys honestly appreciate it.)
The rooms are always clean, and have everything you would expect. I've never had an issue with the beds, and it's just got a modern and comfy feel.
The staff there will go out of their way to fix a problem for you, and treat everyone I have encountered with courtesy and respect. Mereen is particularly amazing, and is always a pleasure to deal with; She will be running a place in a few years, I'm sure!
They also provide a damn good free breakfast in the morning and also a free dinner most days of the work week. Some people can't appreciate what a real meal is worth to a person, after being on the road and eating nothing but drive-through for days. Try the different kinds of homemade banana bread their incredible baker puts out every morning. It's deadly good!!!
People vote with their wallets and there's a reason this hotel is often full, It's perfect for resting while you're on the road we're working out of town, and the staff can't be beat!
Viva fox Vegas!”
