About Cineplex Odeon Grande Prairie Cinemas
Cineplex Odeon Grande Prairie Cinemas is the only theater in Grande Prairie. It is a great place for a family date or an evening of movies and entertainment, with a good theater line up, good popcorn, and many other snacks plus alcohol. Movies can be cheaper with coupons, though drinks and snacks are super expensive. The seats lean way back, which can be difficult for shorter viewers. A significant bad part is how dirty it is behind the tills, with a disgusting floor. Service experiences are mixed; the line moved quick, but there are complaints about refused entry for age-restricted movies and very poor lost and found service where calls are not returned and staff are unhelpful in person.
A fire alarm went off in the middle of a movie and the staff handled it very well. We were able to go back inside shortly after and finish the movie. They also gave us two complimentary passes for future movies. The staff were very kind and apologetic the entire time, it was very appreciated.

The staff was very friendly and provided great customer service! The napkin area and theatre were clean but I noticed the bathrooms needed attention and cleaning. The snack selection unfortunately didn't have milk duds and reclining seats would be preferable but otherwise our visits to this Cineplex are always good!
