I like the deals on groceries etc and to be able to purchase in bulk, however I DO NOT like being treated like a criminal and paying $75 a year for Costco to do so!Showing ID when you enter is refocus since you can't purchase anything at the checkout WITHOUT it! Then checking my receipt and shopping cart when I leave to make sure I didn't STEAL anything!!Also, the majority of the cashier's and clerks at the front end checkouts are rude and pushy!Other than these SERIOUS problems, it's a good store!

Definitely different then the Costco from Red Deer. No Sushi trays and no Ice Tea Powder. Staff was definitely not very educated in what was in there store. People were very nice though!!

Went there on nov 27th and the staff was friendly and efficient but I decided to stop at the Costco liquor store before leaving to get a box of wine. The lady was very unhelpful and rude in the liquor store. Like to the point that the transaction was so uncomfortable I probably won’t go back in if that lady is working again.

Very disappointed in Costco and prairie's customer service. If I could post a role stars. I would sat on hold pushing 3 for membership. Information for over 5 almost 10 minutes was no answer. Not even for someone to pick up and ask me to hold until someone became available. Very disappointing horrible customer service

Great store. It was incredibly busy when I went, and somehow the staff are still positive. Even the other shoppers were patient. Great staff, great customers, great service.

Dear Costco this one hurt our family deeply!I had two employees verbally attack me and borderline physically get way too close. It was unbelievable! They wouldn’t get out of my space or face and I don’t do well when someone gets in my face. I don’t think anyone does. I couldn’t think as they badgered me. They were loud and made a huge scene. It was utterly humiliating! Not only did they profile my husband at the self-checkout lanes two weeks prior they were absolutely unacceptable today.I had gotten a call right there in the store that my brother had a stroke and I was in shock! I needed to go to an area where I could regroup. I was a mess. I went to go to the wall that was right in front of the self-checkout to get out of everyone’s way.As I went to walk through self-checkout out the one female employee started asking me if I was using self-checkout I said no I’m not done shopping and I kept walking. I was on the phone hearing about my brother and in so much shock I didn’t even know where I was. My head was spinning.I repeated to the lady as she stood in front of me and kept trying to stop me from moving that I needed her to move because my brother had a stroke and I couldn’t think. I said I’m just going to stand by the wall. All I had was one thing in my cart, dishwasher soap that was it.She continued to make a scene and become aggressive, and loud and follow my every step raising her voice. I started to get louder asking her to please move and kept repeating what was happening. She ended up getting an older woman who then made an even bigger scene and got right in my face as well. I kept repeating please stop. Please my brother just had a stroke and I cannot think. Please just let me get to the wall. She kept saying you can’t take anything unpaid past self-checkout even though I would be right in front of her and it was only dishwasher soap in my cart. But I couldn’t think to just let go of the cart because I was such a mess at that moment. The second older female employee continued to get in my face and make an even bigger scene and then grabbed the dishwasher soap from the cart aggressively. My head was still spinning and I just needed a second to breathe and realize what was happening. The whole thing was extremely unprofessional, heartless and unnecessary. I have shopped there for over 25 years and spent lots of money there.I did go and speak to the manager and burst out crying from shock, stress and the staff being so pushy, stressful and completely lacking any compassion or tact. The manager seemed like she cared about the way this all went but I don’t know for sure. I have asked for a follow-up call which I hope she will do to address the situation. She did ask me to point the women out who were involved which I did but then when I went to check out the first employee that started this all was packing the groceries. After so much stress I just wanted to get my stuff and leave so I said I would pack my own groceries so that I didn’t have to feel more discomfort. They did get someone else. I also told the manager profiling people and treating everyone like they steal is so wrong and she did agree. She did seem compassionate about how everything went.It feels scary to go into Costco now with how aggressive some of the employees are being! First my husband and now myself. I said to the manager this used to feel like home, comfortable and safe but now it feels scary and VERY stressful. It used to feel like somewhere I felt safe and welcomed but not anymore.Anyway, I don’t expect much just some compassion because we’re all people. Were not just a dollar sign we have real lives, emotions, stressors and even just a little compassion in that moment would have meant the world to me.Costco you could have actually at that moment shown me as a customer that I’m more than my money but I see that’s simply not how it is. ?It may not sound like a big deal to anyone else but if it was you in my shoes I promise it was awful. ?

This was a decent Costco. Quite large. Staff were friendly. Lineups were short. Staff were knowledgeable. Went to pay for our order and the staff there informed me that it was 2 for 1 on the muffins and that I should go get another pack of them. Thank you!

Went in for the good old TP and paper towels, and I ended up spending $200 again. lolLove that I can also get bundle packs of playing cards! 9 in the pack and fairly decently priced, too. Thanks, Costco!!

The vast selection of products, from groceries to electronics, is unparalleled. The value for money is exceptional, and the bulk deals are unbeatable. The friendly staff and efficient service make shopping a breeze. The free samples and food court add to the delightful experience. Costco has become our go-to destination for all our shopping needs. It's a one-stop-shop that never disappoints. Highly recommended!

This review is only for the propane station at the Grande Prairie store. We have had our propane filled 3 times this year at Costco and every time the attendant who filled the tanks had a very poor attitude. He had zero people skills and was quite rude with his answers to any of our questions. If he was one of my employees, we would be having some serious discussions about his future with the company.

I’ve shopped at Costco for years. I’m tired of less staff being on the checkout lanes and needing to use self checkout because I’m in a rush. My last shop I had the lady at the exit door accuse me of trying to steal the butter that for whatever didn’t scan properly. When you spend thousands of dollars a year do you genuinely believe I’m trying to steal something worth $5 come on.
