The assistant definitely sealed the deal with us because of her professionality and understanding of our needs as we transferred properties. Very accommodating and friendly staff available and willing to be available to allow us to view the suite.

Tom Shields Realty has been excellent to deal with. We have rented a home from them for the past 2 1/2 years. Our primary contact has been Dave Shields and whenever we had an issue, he would have a service contractor calling us back within the hour. I've had some aweful landlords, so it's so refreshing to find not only a good one, but a great one! A BIG thank you to Dave, for always responding to my calls or texts with lightning fast speed and taking immediate care of any problems we had throughout our tenure. Excellent to work with! I had Tom Shields handling the rental of my acreage near Wembley for nearly 5 years. They were eventually able to coordinate and arrange for the sale of the property to my long term tenant. Their service as both property managers and realtors was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure I had peace of mind by providing detailed and accurate monthly statements that made filing taxes a breeze! They also didn't hesitate to personally see to any maintenance requests from my tenants even though the property was out of town. I highly recommend them!

Wow totally unprofessional call and service from Peter Shields who " doesnt fu&^ing have time for this " totally no need to be disrespectful rude and dismissive of a person calling you back after a previous call and email were not returned . I'm so happy I made the switch to property management with Tom Sheild's Realty.We had the misfortune of buying a Condo that is not ideal as a rental. With limited parking and high vacancy rate it was a struggle to fill our rental property. I was frustrated interviewing people and spending time maintaining, cleaning and dealing with leasing agreements. It was just an added burden trying to collect rent or ensuring the condo was in the same condition on move out and move in of tenants. We also found out that there is an issue with the common wall in-between units not being sealed properly.Dori Marks at Tom Shields went above and beyond to ensure that our property was taken care of. After struggling for months to get it filled by myself I turned to them and they had lined up a new tenant in no time at all. I no longer had to deal with interviewing countless people and trying to select a suitable renter. I didn't have to worry about credit checks, pets or cleaning. What a relief. She suggested different ways to deal with the smells that came from the neighbouring unit and even picked up a air purification system to put in our unit so I didn't have to bother running around to price them out and get one.If your rental has become a nightmare and you are just tired of dealing with it I strongly suggest making the change.
