I received wonderful care from the nurses and doctors during my cesarean, and also when I walked into emergency. Dr. Russowe was incredible. The only thing that made no sense to me was being put into a double room with only a curtain to separate us and another mom who had just delivered a baby. As soon as my baby and I were asleep, hers would wake up crying and then we were all awake. It happened to them because of us as well. Joined rooms seem rather nonsensical to me, especially with a newborn, but I guess it is what it is.

I only just moved to High Level. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Dr Tj is awesome and made us feel so welcome despite the distance from our home country.

Blatant racism towards the indigenous peoples that come in for help and even than not being listened too or waiting months too recieve help.

Doctor called me racist cause I asked questions and raised concerns and was threatened by the doctor to be forced out by the rcmp.
Doctors will treat you like a drunk if you’re native.
Go somewhere else

This hospital is disgusting and needs to be shut down and evaluated. New staff, new everything. Only go if you want to leave heartbroken.

Why is it my mother who is 83 who lives in bushie river got sick and the first place wanted to go was fort vermilion hospital because to many people turned away and died at this place maybe this place should be shut down and revised with more caring doctors nurses and staff they work in and all community which means theres indigenous peoples also need health care so we all need to be treated the same this hospital is no good

My thoughts on this establishment is terrible, they threw my uncle out telling him he doesn't belong there, he has medical issues yet just because he looks like the wanderers around town they threw him out in the cold.I had another uncle who had a seizure, they set him in a room and they didn't watch him. Since they weren't watching him he left the hospital (no one stopped him) he had another seizure and fell in the parking lot. He passed soon after. This establishment has poor service and don't care for the people of High Level. As long as they detect wealth they'll help out as much as they can.
